What it is about | - This course introduces the learner to the superannuation industry in Australia and superannuation as a means of funding retirement. The legislation and regulation governing superannuation, fund design, taxation of funds, lump sum payment and income stream options available on retirement and related taxation and social security issues are also are covered. Approaches to designing client recommendations using superannuation and retirement products by analysing client needs, conducting research, preparing, implementing and reviewing financial plans, and providing ongoing service ethically and professionally in compliance with industry regulations and codes of practice, are explored. This course addresses the current training requirements of Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) Tier 1 RG146 and Australian financial services (AFS) licensing.
