Welcome to The Learning Missions Heroes

Here you have the instructions to follow for the first learning mission, please read them carefully and ask the teacher whenever you come up with doubts. Enjoy the mission !

  1. Once you team up, you are going to open the envelope you have on the desk. This envelope contains the name of the country you are in charge of.

  1. Immediately, each one of you is going to roll the dice.

  1.  Depending on the number you get, you will acquire a specific super role:
  2. If you get a number 1, you are going to be a…a writer
  3. If you get a number 2, you are going to be a…a builder
  4. If you get a number 3, you are going to be a...presenter
  5. If you get a number 4, you are going to be a ...supply specialist

  1. Once you have your online document open, you are going to fill in it, by writing:
  1. The name of the country you are in charge of.
  2. The names and surnames of each member of the group.
  3. The role of each member (writer, builder, presenter, specialist)

When you complete the document, it is time to start working on your mission ! Next, you have the task that each member of the group has to do:

  1. The supply specialist has to look for information about:
  1. The name of climate zone in which the country is located.
  2. A couple of characteristics of the main climate of the country.
  3. One important feature of the country (for example, the typical meal, the flag, a monument, etc)
  4. The name of a typical plant and a brief description of it.
  5. A 3-sentence forecast about the weather India had yesterday, the weather India has today and the weather India will have tomorrow.

  4. Go back to StoryThat and add 3 cells, so that there are six squares.
  5. Take into account this organization of the cells:
  1. The cell number 1 is going to be the introduction.
  2. The cell number 2 is going to be about the characteristic of the country.
  3. The cell number 3 is going to be about the climate of the country.
  4. The cell number 4 is going to be about the typical plant.
  5. The cell number 5 is going to be about the weather forecast.
  6. The cell number 6 is going to be the end.
  1. Talk to the supply specialist about the information gathered.
  2. Design the scenes by choosing the backgrounds, the characters, and the pictures he or she wants to include, depending on the information given by the supply specialist.

  1.  The writer has to:
  1. Take into account the information that is going to be in each cell of the comic.
  2. Create the speech bubbles of each cell of the comic.
  3. Summarize each piece of information provided by the supply specialist in one or two sentences.
  4. Write in each speech bubble, the sentence/s.
