Ms. Petty’s Naviance Directions

1. Log in to school computer using your six digit perm ID number and password
2. Choose an internet browser (I prefer Chrome)
3. Open a new tab and type in the following web address:  http://connection.naviance.com/erhs
4. Log in using your six digit perm ID as your user name and your normal RHS password
5. Select “About Me” tab
6. Under title “My Assessments” choose “Cluster Finder”
7. Under “Cluster Finder”, choose “View Previous Survey Results” ***(If you haven’t done the survey, you need to do it)
8. Write down your three top clusters on the handout
9. Select the “About Me” tab
10. Under title “My Assessments”, choose “Career Interest Profiler”
11. Select “Start Profiler”
12. Please note...if you are a junior/senior AND have completed this, please complete the information on the handout AND THEN JUMP TO STEP 20.
13. Complete survey and then choose “View Results”
14. Write down your scores and circle the areas listed in green.
15. Choose “View Matching Occupations”
16. Read through them….choose two to write down for each area of preparation.
17. Also, please read through the differences in each area of preparation by clicking on the BLUE “?”
18. Complete the last two questions on the handout
19. Once you are done with the handout, you are encouraged to either investigate the website (careers, colleges, etc) and/or finish your CAHSEE Practice Test.
20. ***JUNIORS/SENIORS ONLY….You are to complete the “Strengths Explorer” under the “My Assessments” on the “About Me” tab.  See Ms. Petty for directions to complete this assessment.
