Sightglass Okta Single Sign-On Setup
Prerequisites
- An Okta account with Admin privileges, which you will use to add the Sightglass integration
- An agreement (verbal or written) with Sightglass for a provisioned organization and account
Supported features
- Service Provider (SP)-Initiated Authentication (SSO) Flow - this authentication flow occurs when the user attempts to log in to the application from Sightglass
Configuration steps
- Add the Sightglass app from the Okta Integration network
- Once added, go to the Sightglass app under Dashboard > Applications
- Select the Sign On tab and copy the Client ID and Client Secret
- Also copy your Okta domain URL from the OpenID Provider Metadata (ex: yourdomain.okta.com).
- Contact support@usesightglass.com with the information copied above: Client ID, Client Secret, Okta Domain.
- Sightglass will finalize your integration and contact you when your Organization and SSO are ready.
