Exercise 2: Self-portrait
Due Thursday, 09/11
Check out a digital camera from the library or simply use the camera on your smartphone. Take several (at least 5) photographs of yourself (“selfies”) and/or items/objects that best represent you. Using Photoshop, compile these into a self-portrait that you feel best represents you or an aspect of your personality. Use scaling, resizing, cropping, layering and basic color correction to compose your self-portrait. Avoid using any plugins or special effects.
You will submit this exercise electronically, to your blog. You will submit the following:
1) The 5 (or more) original images from your camera as JPEGs
2) The final assembled self-portrait image as a high quality JPEG. Dimensions should be 1024 x 768 pixels.
