PRINTING AT HOME FROM YOUR CHROMEBOOK
Classic Printers
If your home printer is not Google device supported, you’ll need to connect directly to it using a USB cable. Once the USB cable is run from printer to your chromebook, that printer will appear as an option in your printing menu.
WiFi Direct Printers
If your printer has WiFi direct capabilities and supports printing from Google devices, you will need to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for installation of that printer on your home network. As long as your chromebook and the printer are on the same WiFi network, you should be able to find that printer in your options.
You can try to add it automatically first by following steps below:
Once your home printer is configured, you will click on the SEE MORE options within the print dialog menu. Clicking on DESTINATIONS, you should be able to select your home printer from the list.
