Local Quiz Team Wins Big!

Groups of kids from different schools came together to compete in the Whiz Kids Competition. Whoever wins would get a trip of a lifetime, they would travel all the way to Washington D.C.!

Also a team of kids from our local school, Spaulding Street Elementary, competed in the competition. Question after question, points after points, until the last round. It was between Perry Valley and Spaulding Street Elementary.

The time flew by as the winners were announced.

It was a close round, 86 to 85 and the winners were Spaulding Street Elementary! Now they’re getting packed and ready for the big trip to Washington D.C.! “We only have two weeks to get ready.” ,says Mr. Dimming.

Congratulations goes to Connor, Melody, Claire, and Rose, Molly,and Rodney for winning the competition!
