WARNING: THIS IS FAIRLY OUTDATED INFORMATION AND I AM WORKING ON NEW STUFF FOR THE SYSTEM
Just to preface! I am EvilE7Cat on PDB, if you have any ideas or suggestions for the system then you probably want to hit me up on discord, i respond quite fast on there, just lemme know who you are and what you wanna talk about cause i will decline rando’s friend requests (though i’m in COT to my dismay and most people in PDB are on there.) My disc is coolburgers231548 (i’d like to believe i’m friendly, just tell me why you added me cause i like to chat :D i’m an S type)
Worldview Factors, or just WVF, is a typology system that focuses on ones philosophy and worldviews using a similar frame to Psychosophy.
There’s a couple of big discord messages i made to explain each of the facets of WVF. and subtypes will be coming out soon!!!
(this is new wvf stuff)
Basically, worldview factors or WVF is a typology system that uses a similar formula to AP/PY and temporistics. It tackles one's views of life, philosophy and how they cope with the struggles that behold them there's 4 factors.
O - Objectivity: Objectivity measures ones views on fate, locus of control and the idea of lifepaths and destiny. Those who score low on Objectivity may be individualistic and anti-traditionalist, while those who score high will generally be dutiful and believe in things like karma.
C - Cruelty: Cruelty measures how we view the ideas of good and bad, mostly the bad. High C users are usually pessimists who believe the universe is out to get them, while low Cruelty users are highly optimistic and may be ignorant or avoidant of the bad things that plagues our everyday lives.
H - Hedonism: Hedonism measures how we indulge, relax and live in the moment, high H users are generally very lazy, materialistic and friendly, focusing on the fun of life, and may have very "Live and let live" views on the world. While low H users believe that it's really just a waste of time, and those who are hedonic are wasteful and corrupt.
P - Profoundness: Profoundness measures ones thoughts on knowledge, especially philosophy and worldviews as an idea. High P users are vehement in their search for knowledge, maybe if it is harmful to others, or themselves, they tend to be deep thinkers, who are curious about everything. Low P users aren't anti-intellectual, they're just avoidant or apathetic of the subject of philosophy for one reason or another, low P is generally quite pragmatic and cautious.
1 - Passive consumption
2 - Active consumption
3 - Active avoidance
4 - passive avoidance
Consumption = positive relationship towards the aspect
Avoidance = negative relationship, ignorant to this aspect or entirely running away from it
Passive = unaware, not really focussed on your relationship with this aspect
Active = very aware, often a point of conversation or mental focus.
Profoundness: You can simplify this as a valuing of knowledge, but in reality it's closer to ones desire to be enlightened. 1P or 2P is most likely to be VERY interesting in philosophy, theology, spirituality. The Consumption profoundness types value information the most, and usually take an interest in most things that sound mildly interesting, they're defined by high curiosity and being philosophically minded.
1P - Archival - Passively Consuming. A blind but positive attitude to knowledge makes you the most inquisitive you can get. They tend to want to collect any and all knowledge, usually what has worth, they feel as if they can achieve something positive by having this accumulation of information. They aren't particularly dissuaded by the idea of pseudoscience, if the pseudoscience is sound enough that is, most 1Ps probably love typology because of this. The name 'Archival' comes from the fact that they will just take anything that seems interesting enough (not literally), this means they often have a large amount of wisdom at their disposal and usually want more, an insatiable greed for knowledge basically.
Sidenote: This is the part where i specifically as in jake who has biases waffles. I know for a fact since most people associate 1P with 1L that this is gonna fuck some things off because i feel like this can sound very process logics..... sorry 1P 1Ls i'm not sympathetic. in terms of correlations this is very obviously head core [I] in terms of archetypes, i have no idea on correlations since there's a lot of people who are better at this system than me, which would be cool IF DIDN'T LITERALLY MAKE THIS SHIT
2P - Blasphemy - Actively Consuming. This active consumption is far more picky, but still retains curiosity. Differentiation may be hard because archiving any and all information may be a tactic they do to reach their so-to-speak 'goal.' 2P wants to find THE truth, not a multitude of different truths, but they'll definitely use multiple truths to find THE truth. It isn't to say 2P believes that their truth is the truth for everyone, these guys can definitely have postmodernistic perspectives, infact i would be inclined to believe a lot of 2Ps are subscribed to postmodernism. Another thing, being an Active type, they tend to warp the respective factor into something for their own benefit, in 2Ps case this is usually creativity and wit. Basically, because of their view being active, they can actually have a full conscious view and pick apart different pieces of knowledge. Sidenote: least obvious 2L Ti user
3P - Piety - Actively Avoiding Active Avoidance creates a pretty clear realisation "I need a guide." Hence the name, Piety, which means being devoutly religious but i think you've clocked that the names aren't rigid and are purely aesthetic. A lot of 3Ps may be religious because of this fear, they want a guaranteed path to enlightenment without fear, pain or suffering, they simply believe that too much knowledge means there can be bad knowledge, and bad knowledge is a threat to survival. 3Ps basically want what is correct without fear of being tainted, hurt or in danger. Be it relying on others for the facts or something similar. Also this isn't really supposed to imply not being curious or geared towards knowledge, it more means 3Ps are scared of stuff like the subject of what happens after death, the meaning of life or even politics. Sidenote: COWARDS!!! uh feels e6 and e9 core idk.
4P - Emmetropia - Passively Avoiding Emmetropia, that's a scary big word, sorry any 3Ps in the audience (I'm such a cunt.) But it means perfect vision, 20/20. This is because 4P isn't clouded by the fear 3Ps face, or the instatiable hunger for enlighenment that plagues 1P, not even 2Ps scepticism. 4P is pragmatic and reality focussed, they don't really care about enlightenment and philosophy insofar as it's useful, so maybe they'll adopt stoicism for the sake of being a mental health benefit. They kind of don't care about philosophy or enlightenment, it's not important to them, they may understand the importance and can respect it, but there is a definite sense of apathy to the whole thing. This isn't to say they're stupid, because usually they actually see things for face value which is VERY important and I'm envious 4Ps please give me your blood.
Sidenote: massive smile on my face as i realise i can finally hit enter BUT WTF!!! DISCORD WORD LIMIT, that's the stupidest shit i hate the discord servers and how they can't handle this much data, can you not HANDLE MY SHITTY TYPOLOGY SYSTEM YOU STUPID FUCKERS, HAVE AT ME!!! ME AND ALL MY YAPPING POWERS RAAHHHHHHHH
ANYTHING BEYOND THIS POINT ISN’T TOO ACCURATE DUE TO CHANGES

H is for: Hedonism
1H, Epicurean: The most Bon Vivant, these people are talkative, the kind of people who are always talking about good foods, skipping out on effort. Banterful and playful, they believe the core human desire is pleasure, that's why I'm calling the 1H epicurean, they want to indulge on the nice things in life, and similar to the 3C, they want to swat away all the negatives in the world, that's not their concern, that's not life.
2H, Bourgeoisie: They have priorities, but are still hedonistic and bon vivant, they see that they need to secure positions of hedonic splendor. These are willing to work hard to assure their laziness, in academic environments they'll often work their arses off to make sure they have the possibility to live an indulgent life in the future. These people may be similarly extroverted, like the 1H, but may not be as lazy, hence the name, the "Bourgeoisie," which is a middle class individual with a focus on the riches in life, capitalist working men who get what they want via production.
3H, Ascetic: These are people who need to be efficient, they're stressed by the idea of not working or putting effort into system. These are the type of people who absolutely hate wasting time. Though they make excellent managers and organizers, they're generally very sensible. But they suffer from a sort of plague. Once they're comfy in their indulgence, they struggle to break out. A major point of growth for the 3H is managing "me time" and work time.
4H, Proletariat: These people haven't really seen an urge or a care for hedonism, it's simply not something they're into. While 3H is wary of indulgence, because of the negative side effects, the 4H just sees no need, they may just like working, it gives them purpose. The fourth position tends to be apathy, and 4H represents that the most. Hence the name! A proletariat is a working class person who is only valued due to their power in labor, so they simply don't see value in hedonism.

C is for: Cruelty!
1C, Cynic: They genuinely believe the world is out to get them, well not that extreme, but they're pessimists, who think that bad things are destined to come after them. They're often the people who say "oh i'm such a horrible person" or "why is this world so terrible." Though, this gives them a pragmatic edge, they're naturally skeptical, for better or for worse, and their shrewdness may genuinely benefit them.
2C, Militarist: As the name suggest, these people see negativity as something necessary. While they are not plagued by it, they see it as a part of life, and almost try to use it as a tool, something for their own use. Paradoxically, the 2C twists the concept of negativity into something positive. These people are resourceful, but they may be cold or heartless. Militarist is a place-holder name because I have no idea what actually somewhat neutral standing name I can give to this, I had Jingo in mind, but it is an offensive term used on those who are patriotic.
3C, Pollyanna: As the third position usually represents a sort of "shooing away" of respective factor, it is not hard to imagine that the 3C is an over-idealist, someone who is obnoxiously optimistic and cannot cope with the idea of pessimism or sadness. They almost unreasonable in their pursuit of happiness. They are discomforted by the idea of negativity, and may use escapism to get avoid this negativity. Pollyanna is a term used for blindly optimistic individual, the term comes from the titular protagonist of the book "Pollyanna," which is about a highly optimistic and curious young girl. I did struggle with getting a good name though.
4C, Quixote: I'll try to keep the literature references to a minimum, but this one is also relatively obvious. 4C is very unbothered by negativity, as opposed to being afraid and ivory-tower. The 4C sees negative things as something to be twisted into good, similar to the 2C, but in a less Machiavellian way. They often bring up negative topics mid conversation, not really understanding the sensitivity, though more aware 4Cs may try to not meander onto those kind of topics, they will have no qualms with them being brought up if no one else has qualms. The 4C may look at some gloomy news, and where 3C will say "oh my god we could have prevented this, why do we have to be this belligerent," And the 2C will say "hey, it has inherent economic value, and we're not being affected really." And then the 1C says "God, we're in the dark timeline." The 4C will simply say "Hey, I'm sure it'll turn out okay."

P is for: Profoundness? Or is it?
1P, Intellectual: These people are incredibly greedy for knowledge, they love learning, finding things out and having intellectual discussions. These people may also be nosy, may wanna know things about people and are often "too smart for their own good." Call them the poster-person of the term "curiosity killed the cat." I use many exaggerations, these people aren't gonna salivate in a library, but they're probably going to be bewildered by all the possible information. THOUGH unsurprisingly, they aren't going to be interested in everything under the sun, while they can be bewildered by the stars, they may be bored to death over cement mixing. Furthermore, these people may be obsessed with concepts such as the existential, and philosophy, constantly looking for more and more meanings and possibilities and views. They want to be fully enlightened. I use this name because, well , they're knowledgeable and want more knowledge.
2P, Socratic: While 1P is intellectual, 2P is shrewd, cunning, possessing a good dose of wit and mental acuity. But they still have that intellectual glare, and a thirst for knowledge, but they're more interested in applying it. These people are witty, creative and enthusiastic about using new ideas in new ways. Though, where the 1P wants to see all sides of the philosophical coin, the 2P wants to find the whole objective truth. Hence the name, the Socratic. Socrates always wanted to wake people up from their mindless monotony and into a world of true enlightenment, to see a wonderful truth, but the whole truth. They may be dismissive of information or viewpoints that aren't true to them as a result.
3P, Megalophobe: The 3P shouldn't be called an idiot for their misology, as they don't do it because they're uninformed, they avoid/disdain the subject because they're afraid of the idea of existentialism and philosophy. They may be religious, or have a faith that takes away the fear in ideas like death, insignificance and other mental plagues that come with philosophy. This also isn't to suggest they're unintellectual, in fact they may be very well-read people. It's just that this type is defined by fear. Furthermore, the name "Megalophobe" more or less pinpoints having a fear of the sheer size of existence, and how they may be unable to cope with that concept.
4P, Hoi Pilloi: Probably the most pragmatic out of the 4 positions. 4P is mostly uninterested in philosophy, they may have opinions like "Well, death is a blank void, and there's nothing much to it." or "I think we go to heaven if we're good or hell if we're bad." They may use philosophy in a casual sense, as in picking up a self help book, and maybe a few stoic techniques. They want to use what works, obviously, so they'll focus more on the most available truth, so unlike 1P finding all the truths, 2P finding THE truth and 3P finding the comfiest truth, 4P is genuinely just "I can take it or leave it" or "whatever works." The term Hoi Pilloi is similar to that of "riff raff" but I think its Greek roots show that it more means the common folk, the everyman, the good majority, as these people are often just trying to do what works.

O is for: Objectivity.
1O, Determinist: These people have an external locus of control. They believe everything is pre-established from the very beginning. This is probably the part where I mention I write very similarly to Naranjo in the sense where I AM VERY EXTREME ABOUT THINGS. So if you want a more realistic explanation, the 1O may feel hopeless or hopeful, if religious, they may explain things by something like "gods plan." Where good things are destined to happen. They may also be very obsessive or hyperfixated on a certain subject, and may also be spiritual.
2O, Moralist: These people believe in karma, what they do influences their luck and karmic value. As a result, these people may be very kind and have a moral sense of duty because of their vehement belief in karma. Also, karma doesn't have to be specifically "karma," as in the hindu belief. It may also be the logical fact that people like to take revenge, equal exchange and whatnot. They may give a lot of gifts and say a lot of compliments so good fortune will come their way, or that the person receiving the love won't hurt them.
3O, Absurdist: These people may be absurdists, hence the name. They think that our preconceived notions of fate, life after death, heaven and overall objective reality are utter hogwash, and whatever purpose there is, is likely beyond our perception entirely. They tend to be highly individualist and focused on paving their own path and sticking to their guns, also highly opinionated. They're likely going to be atheists, too.
4O, Nihilist: As their name may suggest, they don't think there's an inherent purpose to the universe, and they think it means something you need to figure out for yourself. They might also be atheist, but could be theistic, they're also open minded to new ideas that might give them an idea of their personal meaning/purpose. 4Os are likely to be high Hs, but it's more than possible for them to be 3H.
