- LA.7:2: Â Students will develop grade-appropriate vocabulary
Agenda:
- Write in your planner.
- Grab your Caught’ya packet and complete Caught’ya #22. Â
- 4 capitalization (first word in the sentence, proper nouns, first word in a line of dialogue)
- 4 quotation marks (surrounding dialogue)
- 2 commas (after a noun of direct address, following dialogue/before a speech tag)
- 1 apostrophe (contraction)
- 1 period (abbreviation)
- 2 end punctuation (declarative, imperative, exclamatory, interrogative)
- 1 word change/spelling (exception to i before e rule)
- 1 new paragraph (someone new is speaking)
- Find the part of speech and definition for rapscallion.
- Exchange and grade Caught’ya #22.
- Complete Vocabulary Unit #12 for homework.
- Word Wednesday (myriad)
