Troy Bands at Joliet West Football Game

The Troy Marching Band has been invited to attend and perform at the Joliet West football game on Friday, September 13th.  The band will meet at TMS, ride the bus to the game, stay at the game, and then ride the bus back to TMS where families can pick them up.  The band directors at West are our hosts, and Mr. Goetz and Ms. Carlton will be in charge of supervision of the Troy Band like they would be at a parade.  This performance is not required but we would be most successful if as many band members attended as possible.  Please let us know if your child is able to go by filling out this form (there is a space to tell us if your child is not able to participate).

Students will wear their Marching Band t-shirt, shorts or pants, and athletic shoes.

Band members should eat before they arrive at TMS.  We plan on giving the band a bottle of water at the game.

Timeline

4:45 Students arrive  at TMS Band Room, Door 19

6:25 Watch pregame

6:30 Kickoff - TMS Band members will stay with the West Band in the stands.

7:30 halftime performance and watch West Band performance

7:45 head to buses

8:00 depart

8:15 Return to TMS

As with parades, for the safety of our kids, all band members will ride the bus back to TMS for pick up.
