Hey Everypony,

I hope you can help us out. I'm writing on behalf of Matthew Palumbo. Matthew Palumbo was born with a degenerative eye condition. As the years have gone on, his vision has continued to deteriorate, robbing him of the use of one eye. This has left him unable to pursue many tasks that he previously enjoyed. He bonds with his seven-year-old son, Ethan, through watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic together, the bright colors of which are still traceable to his good eye. Palumbo wants to spend the last BronyCon he may attend with good vision setting up a panel to educate and spread awareness of disabilities and how My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and the fan community can and has helped.

"Coping With Disabilities Through Pony" is panel set to premier at the largest Brony convention in the United States, BronyCon. They are currently holding a fundraiser so that the panel can be a success. The mission of the panel is "...to share how the cartoon My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and its fans have helped to improve the lives of individuals with special needs."  He is looking to collect stories from friends, family and fans who have been helped or inspired by the show to present in a free e-book and downloadable audiobook at the panel. The panel will also feature such guests as Meredith Sims, writer of Silly Filly Studios’ acclaimed short fan film “Snowdrop”( as well as voice for the titular character), Rachel Merryfield, a software developer working on Braillemon (a fan version of Pokemon Red and Blue for the blind), his son Ethan, and more.

Would you be willing to help raise awareness either via the podcast or via your website?

For more information, you can visit the website here: http://copingwithpony.weebly.com or contact this email. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have or put you in touch directly with Matt. Thanks for taking the time to read this, even if you can't help.

Sincerely,

Shawn Struck

Hey there Bronyville!

We have a new kickstarter coming up for our first expansion and campaign book to our RPG Ponyfinder.  I was wondering if y'all might be able to help us spread the word to the folks on your webpage and through facebook.

We have launched our second project, The Griffons of Everglow!:  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/224492525/1449607188?token=922b5433

Our first successful kickstarter is here, to see our previous success:

I would love to have a shout out from y'all, and even shoot a link to your site in one of our updates!  We could even make a few of the dev's available for an interview on your show if that is something you would be interested in!

Please let me know if this is something you are interested in or willing to help out with, and we can discuss details further!

Thanks!

Hello Cider, Chef, and guest ponies of a different color,

Now that the summer is in full swing, I'm sure you as anypony else are gearing up for the long and tedious dry spell of 'no pony' season and fan content, such as your podcast of awesome, will help keep the brony light ever burning. Speaking of fan content, in my last email I plugged a wip fic I am writing that involved two species of interest and forming a friendly bond with one another. Just letting you know the guesses weren't really all that close so no pass as of yet but keep trying if you'd like.

As with each email I send here is another topic question I'll drop on you; as we've seen in seasons past the ending of each episode normally consisted of a lesson and method of delivery. First being twilights friendship report letters evolving to all 6 plus certain side characters like spike and cmc, to the journal. My question to you is now that the journal had another purpose come into play, do you think they will keep the journal as the method of delivery for the episodes lesson or something else, and if so what do you think would be the new method?

Your faithful listener,

Hello everypony!

Love the show. I don't know if you've heard but "Weird Al" Yankovic is bringing out a new album later this year. I thought it might be cool if you did a Weird Al focused episode of Fandom Unlimited? After reading "Weird Al The Book" and watching a few documentaries on YouTube, it has come to my attention that this man has had a rather interesting career.

Aside from writing songs, Al has directed music videos for himself and other artists, starred in Movies and TV shows and has even written a couple of children's books. And of course he was Cheese Sandwich in MLP.

What do you think? Would this make a good topic of discussion for FU?

Bro-hoofs and hoof- bumps to you all

Good evening Chef and co-horse.

I have two things to ask of you.

first off, is Country music bad for you? Having grown up in a different part of the world, where the closest thing we had was likely the cowpunk band "Disneyland After Dark". I may be missing some natural resistance to the effects of country music both the classic[1] and the modern[2].

second, this may be better if the great and powerful Bob was on, but Chef you being a professional[3] voice actor may know something about it. Can you pay someone to read a fanfic? e.g. anthropology, There is a group doing a reading of anthropology, putting it up chapter by chapter on youtube, Could they make a patreon account and get payed for there work? or subbable ?

Twisted Haywire

[1] By classic I'm think Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Tanya Tucker and others I can't remember just now.

[2] By modern I mean singers like Eric Church, Toby Keith and what Taylor Swift started out with.

[3] The difference between professional and amateur going by HAM-radio standards is if you are paid for it. And you read stuff and get paid for it.
