Yuanji Dance元極舞
Program information :
The Program is mainly concentrated on practicing the Yuanji Dance to promote individual health. Yuanji Dance is a dance exercise that originated from China through years of research by health-related professionals. It is a combination of exercise, dancing, acupressure and the Chinese martial arts such as Tai Chi and Qigong. Each movement requires the coordination of the whole body and mind through stretching of the limbs, massaging of the muscles and slapping on the acupressure points. The Dance is choreographed to traditional Chinese music to create a graceful and enjoyable experience. It is easy to learn, and good for all people regardless of age and gender. For many of those who practice this Dance regularly, they can experience health improvements which include strengthening of the muscles, better flexibility of joints; and harmonization of all the systems in the body to bring about better functioning and detoxification. All in all, the Dance leads people to enjoy a more healthy and active living.

正如前身本項目主要是以元極舞提昇個人健康的運動。元極舞是經舞蹈家,武術家,醫學家和氣功家共同研究,並運用中國古傳元極功法,配合音樂節奏而創編;它將練功,娛樂,健身,治病巧妙的結合在一起,成為一種特殊的舞蹈稱為「武術舞蹈化」。它不用意念,動作簡單,形式優美,男女老少皆宜。
在元極音樂的貫通下,用優美的舞姿作引導,可以調合身心,協助臟腑,疏通經絡,開發智慧,產生不求冶病而自癒,不求延年而壽長的效果。
