The Unofficial Naxx Leak *Add Spoiler Tag*

This past week someone with a working build of the Cure of Naxxramas took photos off of what looked like their iPad leaking tons of information about Hearthstone’s first adventure.

There’s still IMGUR galleries floating around and Blizzard has requested all of our favorite Hearthstone community sites remove the leaks. So it’s possible but not easy to find the images.

Expect an official preview soon.

Which leads us to: Announcements of Announcements

CM Aratil dropped a (plague) bomb on the forums on Friday, informing the masses that the release of the Naxxramas Hearthstone expansion was targeted for some time in July. He also said that pricing info would be announced on July 1st, but that announcement of an announcement was quickly retracted the next day. "...we do still want to announce more Naxxramas information soon, but I’m afraid it won’t happen on July 1st. We’ll get the details to you as soon as we have finalized information to share."

Aratil posted on the forums:

“Just wanted to give everyone a head's up that we are currently targeting to release Curse of Naxxramas during the month of July. Unfortunately, we still have a lot of implementing and bug fixing to get through, so please stay tuned!

With that said, we are also targeting to reveal pricing details regarding Curse of Naxxramas next week on July 1st, so please keep an eye out for that.”

Crazy Game Stories

Chomaister - The Angry Chicken

Hello hen and chickens!  I got the idea to play an angry chicken in my hunter deck from your podcast EP 35 where you guys talked about the Web Spinner card from Nax.

I must admit that by the time I pulled the angry chicken card, I had lethal, but I really wanted to pull off the angry chicken move, so I waited until I could use the angry chicken combo.  The mage was down to 4.  I played my angry chicken and hoped and prayed that the mage would not kill my angry chicken.  Fortunately the mage used his mana to kill my Highmane.  On my next turn, I used my Hound Master to buff and taunt my Angry Chicken to plus 2 plus 2, making him 3/3.  I then used arcane shot on my angry chicken and enraged it plus 5, and reduced my angry chicken's health to 1.  My 1/1 angry chicken became a 8/1 very angry angry chicken, and I hit the mage for lethal.

I must admit it was awesome to kill SOMETHING with the angry chicken.  This was the first time I actually killed something with it, and I've been playing since Hearthstone came out on iPad.  I had specifically crafted angry chicken out of loyalty to the show.

The earliest you can use this combo is turn 5.  You can throw out the angry chicken on turn 4, and the most you can hit for is 8.  The opponent will kill the angry chicken next turn if they survive.  It's used best when you can pull off lethal.

Try it!  And good luck.  It's not that easy to pull off, but when it works, it is awesome!

From your fan Chomaister.

Ryan “The Shambler”

Hello cluckers,

Just wanted to put a PSA out on a bug I saw abused late last night while playing on the ladder. My opponent (a hunter) was playing pretty slowly, and it led me to believe he was playing your run of the mill midrange hunter. He played an acolyte of pain on turn 3, which was odd, but I didn't think much of it. Then, on turn 4, he begins spamming the "well played" emote. Not feeling threatened by a mere acolyte, I just went about my chillwind yeti business. On his turn, he plays a wild pyromancer, followed by the spell tracking. This causes the client to bug, and the turn timer does not trigger. I waited for about 5 minutes, not wanting this dirty cheater to steal a win from me with an exploit. Unfortunately soon after, my game disconnected and I was credited with a loss. Hopefully Blizzard addresses this soon, but in the meantime, a quick check on the forums told me I should've manual left the client and reentered to beat the bug. No idea if this works, though. My fist is raised in anger!

Love the show,

Ryan "The Shambler"

Ps: I'm waving at Dills from across the bay, hopefully I'll get to one of these game nights you put on!

I have always wondered when the RNG happens. For instance, when opening a pack of cards is the RNG when you buy the pack? When you open the pack? Or when you click the card? Also, what about your deck during the game? Is the deck "shuffled" only at the beginning? Or each turn? I just want to know if praying to the RNG gods is useless because the game has already decided what I'm about to click. Thanks and love the show.

Hey favorite hearthstone podcasters!!!!

Love the show, you keep me current with all the latest news and updates, while I have no internet :(

While enjoying a slow day at work I had an amazing (at least to me) idea. What if Blizzard created a game mode in arena that allowed you to draft your opponents deck...

So it would go like this: a regular draft style but you pick the hero and cards that your opponent would get to play with... But every person you faced you traded decks for theirs. So you'd be playing a crazy deck, blindly… What do you think?

Zachary

Greetings wonderful TAC hosts! Today in arena a mage opponent defeated me with TWO Leeroys n turn 10. This wasn't a Leeroy and Faceless combo  or any sort of card duplication, and because he was a mage there couldn't have been a card stealing mechanic. So my question is, with the odds of drafting a legendary being as low as it is, and that there are currently 35 legendary cards in the game( 27 of which are available to draft for one class in arena); HOW IN THE HELL DID HE GET TWO LEEROYS?!?!?! The odds seem un-F&%!ING-believable. Thanks!

Unxpctdanswers: What kind of deck should I use to make Shaman viable?

Frogsf: How many legendary cards do you need to plan to have to make a serious run at legendary rank?

Mattaweber: Do you think they will ever nerf Leroy?
