CS2103R Guidelines

General info about R modules are given here.

Prerequisites:

You must have at least an A- for CS2103/T

Workload:

The module takes about 1 week of full time work or equivalent. It can be done during vacation or term time. Credits can be claimed in the semester immediately after the one in which you did CS2103/T. In rare cases, claiming credit can be delayed by one more semester. e.g. if you are overseas during the next semester.

The work:

Typically (but not necessarily), the work is related to some research and development work done in one of the NUS-OSS projects or CS2103 module itself..

You take a small SE-related problem that can benefit one of those projects (or CS2103), study it, solve it, and document it.

Some example reports from past students can be found here.

Available problems:

After deciding which project you wish to work in, contact Dr Damith to discuss possible R&D work to be done.
