LEARNIST PROJECT

                You and your group will be creating a review canvas for you and your classmates.  Your group will roll a die to find which lesson topic you will be presenting.  You will need to complete each of these items below for your canvas.

1.  Create your own login and password at the site: www.learnist.com

2.  You will need to include at least each of the following on your learning board:

• An introductory paragraph of your section on the first slide.  This can be created in Google Docs by creating a Presentation Slide.  One of your group member’s must have a Google+ account.  If you have a Gmail account, then you can create one of these.
• 1 link to a website that will explain a topic of your section
• 1 video link (this could be from YouTube, Vimeo, or other source) that is interesting and/or helpful in explaining a topic from your section.  (However, it cannot be one of my excellent videos.)
• 1 image of a real-life situation in which your section can be useful.
• 1 student-created example by using the iPad and the EduCreations app.  This will be done by using my iPad.

                ~ After you create this example, you will need to email the link to yourself.

• 1 teacher-created Google Form survey or questionnaire requiring students to display their understanding of your section.  (When you are ready, I will give you a link to use for the Survey.)

3.  After your group has created your Learning Board, you will need to share it with me via email.  (You will need to hit the “more” button to find the email option.)  Email your board to:  kkline@twinlakes.k12.in.us 

~ You can also choose to Tweet your learning board if you would like!  Use the hashtag:  #tlprecalc

4.  Once you have sent me your completed learning board, then I will post them to a class webmix on the website:  http://edu.symbaloo.com/mix/precalc-ch5

5.  I have placed many tutorials, hints, and videos on the same Symbaloo page in case you need some extra help.

6.  Each person in your group will need to “share” at least one of the above!  Remember, this is going to be 20% of your Chapter 6 test grade!

7.  Your project will be due to me the morning of the “Review Day” for Chapter 6!
