Room 13 - ANZAC Day Statements

Anzac Day isn’t when we celebrate war, it’s when we remember the soldiers that died fighting for New Zealand. But we should also remember the rest of the soldiers that died, not just the ANZACs.

I think it is very important to celebrate ANZAC Day because lots of soldiers died in the war for our country.

Troops fought and troops died. Some as young as fourteen all so we don't have to go to war today. Over two thousand seven hundred New Zealanders died, we need to make sure they did not die in vain. We need to make sure they died in honor and glory and remember what they gave to save us and the whole of New Zealand.
