Christian formation is the lifelong process of growing with and toward God. Every experience in our lives can provide us with the opportunity to express our faith; the challenge we face is recognizing these opportunities and learning ways to live a sometimes countercultural life in a secular world.
Regular opportunities for Christian education at Saint Andrew’s include the following:
Education for Ministry is a four-year course in theological education based on small-group study and practice. Participants discover and nurture their call to Christian service by studying the Christian tradition and bringing it into conversation with their experiences of the world in study, worship, and theological reflection. For 2017-18 class are available in New London (starting date to be decided) and in Hanover starting in September. The cost is $375 per year. Let the Parish Administrator, Shelly Boucher, know if you are interested for 2017-18.
Novel Theology discussions take place on the second Wednesday of the month. The group meets 7:00 - 8:30 pm. See separate Novel Theology page under Learn.
