Course Description

In this course the student will learn academic essay writing skills. The goal of this class is to learn about the characteristics of the academic essay in order to write academic essays on topics that are of interest to the area of study of the student.

Methodology

From readings and class lectures, the student will understand, analyze, and interpret essays and create similar text. The professor will present examples to the class of the different types of essays. The students will experiment with these different types of essays in order to express ideas.
