CALL TO WORSHIP

Creator, you bless us with the heavenly lights—

    The moon that waxes and wanes,

The planets that whirl around the sun,

     The galaxies that wink from afar,

In the darkness you call out, “let there be light”

      And the universe is filled with heavenly light.

You are our creator too,

      The One who found us and who forms us still

May your word of truth ring out today with your call to new life.  Amen.

Creator of the heavenly light, there is no shadow in your divine light.  It remains unchanging across the earth, even as the stars come and go.  You are our faithful creator, the Gardner of our trees.  You plant your truth within us and inspire lives of caring and love.  We honor and worship you.  Amen

Children’s Events for Summer 2024

Sept 28 – Fall Fun Hike and apple picking. Details to follow

A Movie night for Parents and Children is being planned for sometime in the fall.

Centenary UMC Bible Study will begin Wed. Sept 18 @7:00 to 8:30. Studying the book of John.

Sun. September 22nd - Pastor Melissa will be off.

Thurs. Sept. 26  -final class of  Psalms “Managing our Emotions”:–Bible Study,  @ 6:00 -7:30 pm at Easton UMC.  Following that the study will be in Revelations. Date to be determined.

Wednesdays, Eagle Bridge UMC’s Thrift Store is open every Wednesday and the first Saturday of the month

 @ 10:-1:00. Donations appreciated.
