Sam collected data about his health for 74 days. To help analyze this data, I produced 3 charts. I hope you enjoy as much as I did!

This is a line chart of Sam’s diet over the course of the study. Sam ate 394 grams of carbohydrates on Christmas Eve, the most he ate over the whole study. He lacks data on the 28th and 29th of December. Sam’s consumption of carbs fluctuates the most, with a range of 313 grams. His fiber consumption fluctuates the least, with a range of only 70 grams. Sam, on average, consumes 53 more grams of protein per day than the average American male, according to the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. On average, Sam consumes 13 less grams of carbohydrates per day than the average American male, according to Chron.

This pie chart shows that on 33.8% of the days during the study, Sam walked over 10,000 steps, and that on the other 66.2% of days, Sam walked less than 10,000 steps. If you take 3 random days, approximately 1 of those days Sam will walk over 10,000 steps.

This chart shows Sam’s weight over the course of the study. Sam has gradually been losing weight, even though his weight spiked in the days around Valentine’s Day.
