5th January, 1933.
Dear Sir,
I have just received your letter of yesterday, and hasten to reply, as I am off to Scotland in a few hours, for about ten days.
Your appreciation of my speech at the Whitefriars Club Christmas Dinner gives me much satisfaction, especially as it comes from you, and I am glad to know that you desire to print the address in the way you describe and distribute it amongst your friends whom you think would be interested in it. Please print as many copies as you like, as I feel at the present hour of degeneration in art one should do everything possible to enlighten the public.
I shall be very glad to receive a few copies.
I hope I may have the pleasure of greeting you here one day.
Yours most faithfully,
G.W. Jones, Esq.,
12-14 Gough Square,
E. C. 4.
