GPT-3 Writing Assistance Template

This template Google Doc has a Custom Script attached that will call GPT-3 and suggest a continuation to whatever you are writing in this doc.

To use:

• Copy this template
• Open Extensions > App Script
• Add your OpenAI token to YOUR_TOKEN = “<<here>>” (starts with “Bearer sk-...”)
• Save the Script
• Reload the Google Doc
• Click Custom Menu > Write Me Something!
• First time, it will ask you to give permission to the Script. Accept.
• Your ready!
• Delete the contents of this doc and start typing.
• Just do Custom Menu > Write Me Something!

Quick Note: This is a simple prototype built to teach people how to use GPT-3. There are plenty of great writing apps out there if you’d like a richer experience.
