Purpose of the Website

I have been asked to create a website at the work experience the college put me on. I am working as a web designer at Green Line Leisure which is a very large entertainment company. I am to create a website that not only introduces Green Line Leisure to the world but also allows people to see who is playing at the venue and if they want to, book tickets. I will make sure the website I create will be aimed towards teens and adults because that is who I want the website.to be targeted for and because of that I need to make sure the website is professional and not childish.

Ideas for the Website Pages

Page 1: Homepage, the first page people will most likely see when they will go on my website. Will make the page will show what the whole website will be about.

Page 2: Contact Page, the page where people will go when they want to contact the venue or want to find the Facebook or twitter accounts of the website.  

Page 3: Venue Information Page, the page where you found out information about the location of the venue, how to get there and the times it is open.

Page 4: Buying Tickets Page, the page where you buy the tickets to the event you want to go to and the day you are going. Also if you need to you can book rooms for hotels near the venue and if you book them on this website you can get discounts. Page 5: Guests Page, the page where you can see all the guests that are going and which event they are going to.    

Page 6: Robot Wars Event Page, the page where you found the information about the Robot Wars event that is happening and where in the venue it is taking place.

Page 7: Doctor Who Event Page, the page where you can see the information about the Doctor Who event that is happening and where in the venue it is taking place.

Page 8: London Comic Con 2017 Event page, the page where you can see the information about the London Comic Con 2017 event that is happening and where in the venue it is taking place.

Features for the Website

The features that I will have in my website is the logo of my website, a search box to search the site for something you want, a login for you to login to your account to see what tickets you bought and to track them if they have chosen them to be sent by mail, a map of the venue and an animation. Some more features I could have for the website are a navigation bar which links you to the other pages of the website, the trolley of the tickets you want to buy to say how much you will spend so far and images of the events that are happening.                                                                     Screen Design Styles and Features
