đź–¤Hurricane Beryl Resourcesđź–¤

🖤This is a list of compiled resources (donations and relief efforts) to point folks to ways to support the communities across the Caribbean impacted by Hurricane Beryl. Donation locations are in parenthesis.

🖤Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, but a centralized document started to gather links for efforts as they’re seen across the web. If you have questions about any of the efforts listed, please reach out to the people or organizations that organized them.  And continue to reach out to your networks to ask about other donation/relief efforts and share the efforts that you may be seeing with your networks.

đź–¤Last, please continue to grow your understanding and awareness of all the ways that the violence of slavery, of militarism, of imperialism, of expansion, of settler colonialism, and of capitalism are deeply connected to climate crisis and disaster. And continue to uplift the voices of the Caribbean as they speak on this violence and the balm for more holistic futures.

**And there’s a link to a reading list at the very end.

đź“šAnd here is a reading list of Caribbean and Caribbean Diasporic authors - an offering of grounding in history and collective memory to inspire us to name the violence of imperialism, capitalism, militarism, and climate crisis and to inspire us to remember and honor the tools we have to build the worlds we wish to live in.
