Once fired they will find the nearest airborne target and be guided towards it. The missile will explode when in close proximity to its target.

Air-to-air missiles that require the user to maintain lock on the target. If the lock-on is lost it can be reacquired and the missiles might still reach their target.

IR Flares

Infrared flare launchers that when deployed spoofs incoming missiles and breaks lock-ons.

When activated this system will prevent targeting systems from locking on to you and will spoof any incoming missiles for a short while before it needs to be reloaded.
