Several years have passed since I had the honour of exhibiting in Rome [illegible] the portraits of His Holiness Leo XIII [4509] and Cardinal Rampolla [4511][1] and it would give me great pleasure if I could take part in this year’s exhibition in Rome again.

I am taking this opportunity to bring to your attention my friend and fellow Hungarian Herr Stefan Thoman[2] – he is professor at the Academy of Music in Budapest, his wife[3] is an excellent singer and has recently been giving very successful concerts.
