End of the Intergalactic War Although these past few weeks have been excruciating, we have just gotten word that eleven year old, Ender Wiggin has in fact defeated the Buggers and in turn, saved the human race from mass destruction. While he started Battle school at 6 years old, Ender was prematurely promoted several times and eventually found a way to defeat the Buggers. Our victory is definitely a topic to celebrate, but authorities looking into Wiggin’s defeat of the Buggers say that Ender was allegedly tricked into fighting the buggers and the boy thought he was merely playing a simulation game to prepare for war. If true, the intelligence agencies behind the deceit would have violated laws and be open for a law suit. While this may be true, it seems Ender Wiggin does not wish to pursue justice for the deception they played against him. The eleven year old savior only wishes to be left alone with his sister, Valentine Wiggin. | About the Buggers While we have defeated the buggers, we are just now beginning to truly understand their way of life. As intel gathers, we find they were actually a fairly advanced civilization similar to ours. With a leader who tells her people what to do and they make sure it gets done. It seems the buggers may have attacked our planet because they were trying to protect themselves or because they simply couldn’t understand that another life form existed. We realize that the buggers were able to colonize themselves on other planets, most likely to ensure the duration of their race. Intelligence agencies have informed the public that the buggers were actually able to communicate without having to verbally speak or electronically sending a message. This capability lead to the technology that helped Ender Wiggin defeat the buggers. |
