SUBJECT: March 18th - 2014 Solarize Plano Project Communications Update
This project status email is being sent to 2014 Solarize Plano Project participants that have enrolled, interested volunteers, and related city & utility staff contacts . This communications update includes:
1. Enrollment status
2. Next Steps Reminder - Decision Point 2
3. RFP Review Team - Special THANKS to the those participants on the team!
4. Request - Help spread the word - ONLY 4 WEEKS LEFT
5. Project Questions
1. Enrollment status
Enrollment is continuing to increase, but recently at a slower pace. (Everybody on Spring Break?) As of mid-day today, we have had 88 total Plano residents sign up so far! In the last 4 weeks of last’s year’s project, we had over 100 additional enrollments. But it was mid-summer last year and everyone was looking at their electricity bills. Probably not so right now. So we will need everyone’s help to spread the word. Let’s see if we can do it again - even in the spring!
2. Next Steps Reminder - Decision Point 2
While we are continuing to encourage new participants to enroll through April 15, 2014, it is now time for already enrolled participants to consider proceeding with Decision Point 2. If you have done your homework and participated in one of the Information Session Meetings, it is now time to start considering your next step.
As described in Participant Decision Points, complete the 2014 Decision Point 2 Form Questionnaire to move forward with Decision Point 2 no later than April 15, 2014.
For those participants that have not yet been able to participate in one of our Information Session Meetings, see Schedules and Presentations
3. RFP Review Team
A special THANKS to those participants who have agreed to be on the RFP Review Team. We received RFP responses from 8 companies. The RFP Review Team will be reviewing and scoring the responses over the next two weeks so that a final company will be selected by the end of March.
4. Request - Help spread the word
Look for a special request email coming shortly on this topic.
5. Project Questions
If you have any questions, please reach out to us by email so that we can setup a call or meeting to address them.
Thanks again for your interest in the Solarize Plano Project and tapping the local solar energy that we have here in Plano!
