There are many scholarship opportunities that do not come through the guidance office. We want you to take an active role in your future and research other scholarship opportunities online. Wendy’s High School Heisman




  • Have a 3.0
  • Participate in at least 1 of the sports listed on the eligibility page
  • Be a leader in the school, community, and for underclassmen

Kidguard for Education Scholarship Program




  • All 9-12 grade high school students

Levine Scholars Program



Levine Scholarships will be awarded to approximately 20 incoming freshmen who will receive full tuition, room, board, books, and mandatory fees for eight semesters of undergraduate study at UNC Charlotte. Scholars will also have access to funding for four summer experiences, a service grant and a professional development fund.

Greenhouse Scholars’



  • Be a graduating high school senior planning to attend a four-year accredited academic institution
  • Be a US citizen or permanent resident and a legal resident of NC
  • Have a cumulative, un-weighted GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Demonstrate financial need (annual income no greater than $70,000
  • Possess excellent leadership skills, an ability to persevere through difficult circumstances, and a strong interest and commitment to their community
