Sunday, 20th March 1927

Was so glad to receive yr.letter, intended to reach me before my departure. Meantime you will have rcd. my letter, & Dads[1] wants to write to you, but he is awfully busy. He goes mg. + aft. To the Palace & has commands to paint all the 6 children.[2] He has begun the 3 eldest, & likes the 2 boys so much, the older ones. He is treated like an old friend at the Palacio Real. I expect to be invited there next week. – Will you please look for a good Tutor for Pat[3] in Latin, to begin work with him the beginning of May. Pat will return for good now. Your exams are much in my thoughts & I pray you will have success.  Much love LdeL
