col-30-30.pngctk-30-30.png A Rich Man’s Question!  In this week’s Bible Story in Sunday School Jesus answers a rich man’s question about what he has to do to get to heaven.  Sadly, the rich man doesn’t like the answer!  Jesus tells him he can’t take his stuff with him.  Jesus tells all of us to spend our lives serving and helping others and putting people before our things. That’s the answer! (NOTE:  See the Servanthood Blitz invitation below.  It is a great way to practice being good and faithful servants!)

Bring Sunday School Home!  Check out the Education Page on the UNITY website. Each week there are updates that include a Family Page with information about the Sunday School story, prayers and activity ideas.

Take Sunday School on the ROAD!  As you work to make being a part of Sunday School a priority - consider going to the “other campus!”  You always have options - attend any campus, any day and any hour!  When your calendar gets complicated OR just for fun - be bold and take it on the road!  Check out the Education pages on the UNITY website for lots of other info about what UNITY has for young learners www.unitybrookfield.org. Contact Jo Ann Tomm (joann@unitybrookfield.org) or Education Chair, Jolene Epding (jepding@gmail.com) with Sunday School questions.

It’s not too late to join us at the Servanthood Blitz! There is a  GREAT opportunity for sharing God’s love this Sunday afternoon.  Kids in Kindergarten-Grade 6 are invited to be a part of our annual SERVANTHOOD BLITZ from 1:00-3:30pm.  It is a fun afternoon of working on different service projects to help our partners. The Blitz has a sports theme so wear the colors of your favorite team.  There will be half-time pizza and a post blitz ice cream sundae wrap up.  Be a part of being great by serving.  It’s not too late to just come!  Bring $5 to help cover the cost of supplies.

Important Lutherdale Summer Camp Update:  Lutherdale is a summer Bible camp near Elkhorn that we have encouraged kids finishing Grade 1 through Grade 6 to attend. Spending a week at camp is a great way to connect with God, learn new skills, make friends and have fun. (It’s where we learned how to play Ga-Ga Ball!)  You can attend any week that works for you. NOTE: The week of the “all ages” program and half-week options has changed this summer… it is now Week 5 - July 7-12, 2019.  Check out the Lutherdale website for more information and to sign up.  www.lutherdale.org.  Registration opens November 7. Very Early Bird discounts end January 9.  The all-program week fills up fast.
