India has huge youth force, around 60% of Indian population accounts for it. We may times see young working executives, college students groups on road side, college/office canteens, recreation clubs always discussing about future of India growth be it in terms of Employment, corruption, politics and many more. Discussion is a fruitful thing which makes in/out of knowledge sharing but what is the use of discussion without implementing.
Here comes the idea of similar thinking group of people and finally emerging as ‘Spoorthi Youth Organization’ for the welfare of mankind.
Career Guidance Program:
Choosing a career is a multi-step process. It involves gathering information on a number of things, the first being him/herself. Youngsters in India, do not have the freedom of selecting their career, it is said. They are forced to become engineers, doctors, MBA’s and IAS officers, it is said. Yes, agree. But that is not the problem. The problem is youngsters in India do not have the vision to think beyond.
Neither their parents, nor their grandparents had that vision. This is where the root of the problem is. Generations have gone through a system which sucks. Now the beauty is even the law-makers and educators of today’s India are products of that age old system. That is why no less than a revolution is needed in the education system in India.
We have taken up the responsibility of architecting and securing the future of the students. That’s when we started Career Guidance and Training. Choosing a career is a difficult matter, in the best of times. Add to these opinions of friends and parents, and the young person is caught up in a confusing situation where making a decision is almost impossible. We designed a model that can help young people to choose a career, gain competencies required for it, make decisions, set goals and take action. The decision for each individual is different, since everyone is a distinct individual. This model is helpful not only for fresher but also throughout one's life.
