SUBJECT: February 7th - 2014 Solarize Plano Project Communications Update
This email is being sent to 2014 Solarize Plano Project participants that have enrolled and interested volunteers. This communications update includes:
1. Enrollment status
2. Request - Help spread the word
3. RFP Review Team
4. Next Steps Reminder
5. Project Questions
1. Enrollment status
Great News! We have already passed our target minimum of 20 enrollees. As of the end of the day Feb 6th, we had 25 Plano residents signed up! Let’s get more!
2. Request - Help spread the word
We are asking your help to build momentum and spread the word. The more people that enroll to learn, the better the potential for a larger total installed PV solar capacity for the project, resulting in the opportunity for a larger discount for all participants who ultimately decide to install a system. Some suggested ways to spread the word are listed below. Let us know of any ideas that you have to further help.
Here are some references you can use when spreading the word!
3. RFP Review Team
The company that will install the PV solar systems will be selected by the RFP Review Team. This team will consist of project participants that have indicated an interest to participate in the solar company selection process. Those interested will be asked to complete a short questionnaire. The work of the RFP Review Team will be conducted between March 15 and March 31. More information will be available in the coming weeks.
4. Next Steps Reminder
As included in the email that you received after submitting your enrollment (and on the solarizeplano.org website), your next steps are:
5. Project Questions
If you have any questions, please reach out to us by email so that we can setup a call or meeting to address them.
Thanks again for your interest in the Solarize Plano Project and tapping the local solar energy that we have here in Plano!
