The Writing Center - Our student-led Writing Center (in room 518) is now open! Our consultants are ready to offer feedback on any type of writing Tuesday-Friday during X Bell. When using FlexiSCHED, please select the “Writing Center - 518”. Teachers may “sign out” Writing Center Consultants during their class time bells 3, 6, and 7.
Privileged Activities - Please see this letter for eligibility requirements for privileged activities (ie homecoming, OHHS Walk, prom).
Student Grief Group For students who are grieving the loss of a friend or loved one, we have a student grief group that meets monthly throughout the year during XBell/ 4A. It is co-led by Mrs. Southworth and Mrs. Ray and is an open group that students can join at any time and remain members of as long as they attend Oak Hills High School. To participate in the group, students should complete this sign-up form (can be found on Google Classroom). After signing up, they will be invited to the next group meeting. Participants are invited to bring their lunch to group and eat while we meet.
The Music Department is going to Disney in December 2026! Join us on Monday, Oct 13, 2025 from 6:30-7:30 pm in the OHHS Auditorium. This informational meeting is for all current 8-11 grade music students and anyone planning to participate in choir, marching band and orchestra next year.

2024-2025 Yearbooks - The 2024-2025 yearbooks have arrived! If you paid for shipping they should have arrived or be arriving soon to your home! All others should pick up their yearbook from room 136! We do have extra yearbooks available for purchase. Send $85 cash or check (payable to OHHS) to the fiscal office starting Thursday. Blankets - Blankets are not to be worn in school. If you have a blanket please be sure to keep it in your backpack.

Breakfast Servery - Please note that the servery closes at 8:00 am. If you would like to purchase something from the servery it must be purchased before the first bell begins at 8:00 am.
Morning Arrival - All students should be entering through the commons’ doors in the morning before 8:00 a.m. After 8:00 a.m. please enter through the Main door by the flagpole and stop and see attendance for a tardy slip.
Fast Food - Students - your parents are NOT permitted to drop off fast food for you. Please make sure your parents are aware of this rule.
Parking passes - The lot will be checked daily. All cars in the lot are required to have a 25-26 parking pass.
Final Forms - It is extremely important that the school has completed Final Forms on file. It provides us with contact information as well as release information. Please have your parents fill out and update your Final Forms. It can be found on the website in the Parent Portal.
OHHS Art Opportunities- Are you interested in participating in art competitions, exhibitions, internships, or possible job opportunities? Then make sure to join the OHHS Art Opportunities Google Classroom HERE…even if you aren’t currently enrolled in an Art and Design Department course.

PTA Reflections- Submissions for the 2025-2026 PTA Reflections program are now open. The PTA Reflections program provides access to the arts and opportunities for recognition to help students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas using art and to develop confidence and a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life. If you are interested in participating and lending your creative voice to this year’s theme, “I Belong”, stop by 213 to get entry information from Schorsch. Entries are due by 11/3/2025.
Creative Canvassing- National Art Honor Society is sponsoring ‘Creative Canvassing’ and is bringing you an awesome art and design series all year long. Imagine cool talks by artists and designers who will share their stories and show you how they create amazing stuff. Plus, there will be presentations about college and post-secondary options, helping you figure out how to keep your artistic passions alive after high school. CC events happen after school, so you don’t miss out on the chance to dive into the world of art and design, learn new things, and let your creativity run wild. |
