8th June 1925
Dear
In reply to your letter of June 4th[1] I regret to say, that at present, I shall be unable to invest any money in the Diala Cotton Company. I am sure, after what you have kindly told me in confidence, that this would have been a very advantageous investment and I am sorry that I cannot make any use of it.
We are all so very pleased the other day seeing you, and Sir John and Lady Norton-Griffiths[2] and hope you will soon renew your visit.
Believe me, | Yours very sincerely,
SMDL
