REVIVED WITCH BEGINNER GUIDE

REROLL PHASE

After a short tutorial, the game would allow you to do multi-pulls up to 100 times. You can only choose one multi-pull out of everything. Note that you cannot choose the ones you have already skipped. A maxed out roll would have 1 UR and 1 SSR.

IMPORTANT INFO

Blue Color. Also known as Mercury is currently the strongest color due to its top tier doll options.

Order/Chaos Energy. Order energy naturally regenerates and is mostly used for dolls’ s1. The amount of Order Energy used will generate the same amount of Chaos Energy which is mostly used for dolls’ s2. This mechanic makes gaining Order Energy extremely important aside from natural regeneration.

Charged Skill. There are certain dolls that use a charged skill as either their s1 or s2. A charged skill costs 4 stacks to use. When a doll in the team uses a skill, it provides 1 stack for charged skills, once the stack reaches 4, a charged skill will automatically be used. In short, they are free skills that technically do not cost either Order or Chaos Energy. This makes it important to have a doll with charged skill in the team.

ARE STARTING DOLLS GOOD?

The Witch is decent but the other two SR, Octavia and Mortimer are pretty weak.

GEAR OPTIONS

Eventually, you would notice that there are two different weapon options with the same level requirement for each class yet they provide the same type of stats. The difference is the base numbers and growth. Basically, there’s an offensive type and defensive type option so be careful which one you upgrade. For example, you wouldn’t want a defensive wand for your main DPS mage or a defensive shield on an offensive guardian.

WHO TO REROLL FOR

Short Answer: Afallen

Long Answer:

UR List:

Afallen - A blue guardian that can almost do anything except heal herself. 2-second invulnerability makes tanking certain lethal attacks easier. Passive not only allows Afallen to provide more DPS but also improves the performance of your magic DPS such as mage.

Tuonel - A yellow healer that is a complete package of what you want from a support. Has passive regen which is great against enemies that uses crowd control, has team ATK buff, can provide shields and can generate chaos energy which is mainly used for offensive spells. Her s2 being a charged skill makes her an ideal 3rd slot doll. Could have lesser priority since 100k pre-register reward gives Cynetia, a yellow SSR healer which can be a great alternative to Tuonel.

Caledonia - A red guardian that can do everything -- only held back by her color. She has a charged skill that reduces incoming damage for the team and also heals the team based on her HP which means, as long as she’s coupled with an assassin with 1 energy cost skill, she can maintain the damage reduction permanently and also keep healing the team. While she has a knockback to cancel lethal attacks, the wind up time makes it hard to use since it needs advanced timing.

SSR List:

Note: Apparently not available within the Reroll Banner

La Crima - A blue compeller that can be built as a tank and act like a battery for your other dolls. She has two very strong points. First is how her passive gives her a chance to generate order energy when getting hit, in this game, getting order energy is very crucial. Second is how her s2 is a charged skill with a built-in stun and magic amplification. You basically just need La Crima to be on the front and she will provide support w/o needing to use any of her skills. Since compellers are not innately tanky, she requires proper ascension and gear investments to be able to tank consistently.

Ushpia - A blue mage and is arguably the strongest DPS in the game. Her damage stacking mechanics on top of a passive that allows her to keep stunning the enemy is very powerful in this game. Bosses can be stunlocked and all incoming attacks can be cancelled with crowd control. All her skills being AoE also helps when bosses spawn annoying minions. An SR doll named ‘Pakane’ can compete with Ushpia for the same AoE+CC role.

Cynetia - A yellow healer. Slight downgrade from Tuonel.

TEAM BUILDING

To make early game easier, you should decide building between,

1. A classic holy trinity team (Guardian+Healer+Witch) or

2. Compeller+Compeller+Mage setup.

The reason for this is due to how the ascension material and equipment stages work. The mentioned stages use class restrictions ie; guardian+healer, mage+compeller and destroyer+assassin. This means that to farm the stage, you are required to only use the mentioned classes. So for example, your team composition is Assassin/Healer/Guardian, while your healer and guardian can farm together, your assassin will struggle to farm solo on a separate stage.

Then why is the holy trinity team setup easy to use? Because it can use the Witch (MC) as the team’s DPS. Witch Class is universal therefore restrictions do not apply. So when you farm healer+guardian stage, the Witch can tag along.

As for the “2 Compeller 1 Mage” team, one of the compellers will be built as a tank. However, the options are super limited and I personally suggest rerolling for La Crima for this team setup.

Having the same element is also important for a slight ATK/DEF bonus but not mandatory.

So far, there’s 3 viable methods to fight bosses.

  1. Sheer Brute Force. Basically just form a team that has strong heals and strong damage mitigation. With the current doll options, Red and Yellow teams can easily form a brute force team.
  2. Crowd Control Spam. Bosses can be infinitely crowd controlled in this game, easier said than done though because you are still limited by your Order Energy regeneration.
  3. Invulnerability Spam. Limited to Afallen’s team.

STRONGEST TEAM IN CBT

Front: Afallen (Damage Mitigation, Debuff)

Mid: Amanami (Heals, Buffs, Debuff, Energy)

Back: Ushpia (Stacking AoE Damage, Continuous Stuns)

Extremely balanced team yet each doll is overperforming in their roles.

PRIORITIES

  1. Story Progression. Unlocks Witch ascension, Base Upgrades and more Features.
  2. Doll Ascension > Equipment. Ascending dolls provides massive stats increase.
  3. Upgrading Base Expedition to max for Premium Currency farming.
  4. Forming a super high AoE burst team for PVP.
  5. Forming 4 teams for Weekly Premium Currency farming. To elaborate further, all teams don't have to be min-maxed. There will be four stages and each has their own level of difficulty. Treat it as a Very Hard, Hard, Normal and Easy stage. Your best team obviously should tackle the Very Hard stage, second best team for the Hard stage and so on.
