Dear Apple Cider, Chef Sandy, guests, and possibly Starry, Just to give a little background before I ask this question, I am a brony still in the 'stable', from a rather anti-brony high school outside Philadelphia. I listen to two different brony podcasts- you guys and 'Brony Time'. I go on DHN and EQD pretty much every day and I read a lot of fanfics- the point being that being a brony is a rather large part of my average day. What is the best or manliest way to explain to your girlfriend that you are really in to MLP? I got the sense that Starry was a little bit negative towards it at first by her reaction to you singing about ponies and Magneto that one time (That was hilarious by the way). The best bad idea I have right now is just to grow out my still rather uneven facial hair and tell her when I vaguely resemble Chuck Norris with a skin disease. I'm guessing that one of you might have a better solution. This question is a little more directed at Chef Sandy, because the last one was more towards AC and Starry. What type of music do you listen to most? I get the impression that most bronies listen to dubstep after watching a ton of PMVs, yet there are definitely some that are like me and get into 'intenser' rock ( Metal Core Pony and Prince Whateverer are awesome). I find it interesting sometimes to see what different groups of people tend to listen to in terms of music because it sometimes says something about their psychology. Anyways, keep up the good work you guys. P.S. I seriously can't decide on a favorite pony. I like them all. Although if I could only give one of them a hug, it'd go to Luna because she's socially awkward, and I know that feel. |
Hello hosts and guest(s) this was a good episode obviously discord was a big part about that. Although I think his reformation was a bit of a villainous breakdown but seeing as how he wasn't necessarily evil just chaotic its still good to see him again and this episode will probably inspire many fanfics I also feel like he'll return in the season finale you guys are doing great by the way love the show |
Dear Bronyville, Hey guys! I wanted to know if you guys have any ideas for background ponies, and evil characters, like from your own ideas. I would love it if you put this on your show! Anyway, I would also like to hear some more background for your pony OC's. I love your show and I have been listening in since day 1. sincerely, Your faithful student, Snazzy Sparks |
Hey AC, Chef Sandy, Starry Night and Guest/s of awesomeness Sorry if this is a bit long. When you were talking about conventions in general. You know, that smaller ones ain't so bad, multi show western animation cons or even HUB cons. That's kinda inspired me to write this email. In my experience small cons have been good. Heck my own ones at Auto Assembly (the biggest transformers one in the uk yet under 1000) are a testament to that, but those stories are for another time. Scott McNeil's mad ninja skills being one of those. I'd agree that not every con needs to be big. You definitly loose the social aspect at huge ones. Small cons have that going in spades. Be it talking to a guest about just normal things not relating to what they do or sitting about with good freinds talking about anything ( even playing old school board games). Talking Pony is good, or in my case jut saying eeeeeyup cosplaying as Big Mac ( pretty sure some of the production guys from Mlp that were at the Mlp project in nYc back in October had asked for photos. Of course I had no idea what they looked like or was actively looking for em lol). I look forward to hopefully running into you guys some day down the road and thanking you for the wonderful job you do with the podcast week in week out. In my own Irish Brony style naturally. (Generosity& kindness only cause yeah cause Aparently a tall guy dressed as Big Mac can be scary at times I guess) Your loyal listener from the Emerald Isle Mill Stone Sent from Mill Stone's I-Hoof |

Dear Princess Celestia,
Aaaaand take two! Oh, hi Princess! Umm, sorry we missed out the past few weeks. I don’t think Sandy and I would fare too well in magic kindergarten after all (being earth ponies). But! We’re making up for it! Sandy actually traveled all the way to San Jose to spend time with me for Further Confusion 2013. And we collected tons of audio including our discussion on the Discord laden ‘Keep Calm and Flutter On’. Sure, it’s a few weeks late but you still love us... right?
Sincerely,
Apple Cider
