Raid cards:
There’s a total of 21 Cards, these are separated into card types.
Burst: They are basically critical hits, they have a chance to do one time damage
Affliction: These attacks will stack, and can normally stack multiple times, they can also proc multiple times in quick succession.
Support: These are cards that can also stack, and will help support your other cards/increase their damage. They can also increase damage to specific body parts. These cards cannot do damage directly.
Whip of Lighting (Burst) Acid Blade (Affliction)
Inner Truth (Support)
Deck panel:
This is the section where you will build your decks, you can mix and match any cards you want, but you will want to put a lot of thought into what cards you use.
When first opening the panel players get 3 random cards.
Existing players will also get a notification in game from GH that will give them 1 level of each type of card, new players will not get this in the future.
There are a total of 6 deck slots each holding 3 cards. A card can be added to multiple decks but only used once per attack reset cycle, meaning the other decks with that card in it will not be usable during that attack cycle unless you switch out that used card. Used card’s are shown as greyed out.
Practice Button
This button at the bottom of the deck panel will allow you to test your card decks as many times as you want, giving you freedom to test the different synergies that the new cards offer. Practice hits have no timers or limits and have no effect on any currently running raids.
Clan Chat Panel:
Upgrades are estimated in 3.1 but nothing currently in 3.0 other than that when a raid is started or finished there is a notification in the chat.
New Raid Preview Panel:
Only masters and Grandmasters can start a raid
Clan Raid Attack Tab:
Blue bar is titan HP. Grey bar above it is titan armour
Bottom left shows attacks remaining for this attack reset cycle.
Timer for the reset cycle is below.
Buttons on the right of the titan:
Top one is a manual refresh (not often required)
Middle one toggles health on body parts on and off (Grey bars seen in the image[showing grey due to having armour on them])
Bottom button opens the deck panel for easy access to change decks.
Damage list is same as before.
Export button works same as currently. Currently data is only exportable for the 1 hour “finalization” period after raid is complete. There is plans for a previous result panel in the future which will allow for viewing the data. This is not confirmed to be in 3.0 and also it is not confirmed whether this will let you view multiple or just the last raid information currently.
Clan Raid Info Tab:
Shows info on what level the current raid is.
Displays the location of the raid.
Shows the type of titans you are against in this raid.
Gives info on the titans armour, HP on each part and total HP.
At the bottom you can see the sequence of titans in the raid.
Confirmed that you don't need to kill all the body parts to defeat the Titanlord.
Higher level raids titans have armour., while lower dont.
Clan Raid Rewards Tab:
Shows the rewards obtained from finishing the raid within the designated time. (3 days currently)
While it isn't showing in the image, when finishing a raid level for the first time players will gain an extra reward to player raid exp.
Raid level replaces CQ count. It should be a smooth transition meaning the leaderboard should land as it is currently.
Players get raid exp for completing a raid.
Player raid exp increases base dmg, unlocks new features (not expanded on)
Dust is used to increase cards levels and to buy new ones from the dust shop.
Cards are also a raid reward.
Hero Scrolls are also a reward.
Scrolls are like hero weapons but for boosting the hero’s abilities. See below for further info.
Attacking:
Additional diamond hits are no longer a thing.
You will get 3-4 attacks per reset. (12 hour period)(3 for lower raid levels and 4 for higher ones)
Cards can only be used once per attack reset, so card use needs to be planned.
Power of swiping is on by default during raid attacks.
Certain cards create different colored text so you can see it taking effect and by what value.
Short cooldown between attacks (currently 30 seconds and seems to be planned to stay that way)
Stacks are indicated at the top right (cards that don't stack wont show any number)
End of attack panel shows info on cards used, taps done and total damage dished out.
Shareable end of attack panel planned for 3.1 (ingame sharable)
Dust shop:
The dust shop is a tab on the deck / card panel.
Use dust to purchase levels of cards or new cards you don't have.
6 random cards in the shop at varying level / cost which reset once per day just like the normal shop.
Player Profile:
More stats added like pet levels, crafting power and total SP.
These stats can be viewed by any player, including your opponents in tournament. This should help you understand your standing against other characters a bit better.
Profile Raid tab
(not finalised)
May get more stats added to it.
Shows some player raid info.
New hero weapon panel:
Weapon Tab
New orange tabs on icons for weapons missing/required to complete the set. Will show on scrolls too. (not showing in image below since 1 full set is not yet complete)
ScrollsTtab
Works that same as weapons but scrolls boost the hero’s abilities rather than just their damage.
Scroll sets boost +% on All hero skill amounts
Scroll sets are considered stronger than weapon sets.
Scrolls are exclusive to raid rewards and won’t be in the shop or in chests. They may appear in bundles in the future.
Shop Changes:
New chest graphics
Silver chest and titan chest to get dust put into them to replace equipment.
More shards into the titan chest to make up for the removed equipment.
Daily Achievements Reworked
There are now 5 achievements worth 5 diamonds each now instead of 1 worth 25.
Additionally each achievement gives 1 raid ticket upon completion, so 5 tickets per player per day.
The 5 achievements are easier to complete than the old ones single ones.
They are:
Hatch 3 eggs
Pick up 4 equipment
Upgrade 1 artifact
Collec 1 diamond fairy
Prestige once.
It was not confirmed if there will be more/ different ones in the future.
Raid cost
Starts low but scales up. (Rewards scale up with harder raids too)
Chris estimates that 50 active members getting all their dailies should be able to do a raid every 2 days approx.
Balance
CQ damage bonus gone!
Damage is replaced by other systems
-Equipment is stronger, (approx strength as before auras were reworked)
-Pets got a boost. They get a boost every 20 stages instead of every 50 (damage pets gain the most from this)
-Artifacts not touched yet but Chris wants to do some smoothing if he has the time. The intention is to reduce some of the strength gap between low and high tier arts.
-some heros had their numbers tweaked
-titan HP numbers were also tweaked. HP scaling smoothed
-because of the above, early titans have more hp but early heros also now do more dmg to balance this
Ascension has been tweaked
Active skills are on the to-do list. Nothing changed in this patch.
Passive skills have been buffed.
IP cost has been reduced.
Passives have been tweaked to be a bit cheaper too
Anti Titan cannon (clanship splash skip) has been reworked to be based on hero masteries instead of CQ count.
(Hero masteries is total hero weapons and hero scrolls)
ATC is also cheaper to level up
Artifacts
Chris has 3 in mind but he’s not sure if they will make it into the patch. No info on them currently.
Equipment sets
They have 1 equipment set planned for 3.0 surrounding “snap”
Crafting power
Nerfed since it was so OP due to the massive influx of sets.
Has been balanced by the other systems that were buffed so there should be little to no noticeable drop in strength due to this change.
Q&A
When new cards are released in future updates, will they start at level 1?
Yes, they will be starting at level one, but we’re making it so it doesn’t take too long for them to be usable, we have the dust shop which will offer the chance to focus on specific cards, we are also playing around with the scaling numbers.
With higher tier raids you will gain more cards, so it won’t take as long to level them up. At lower level raids you will gain less cards from completed raids. We don’t want it to take 5 months for your cards to be usable.
What will happens to people that have over 10000 clan quest attacks? Will they lose all of it?
Clan quests will be converted into player raid xp. So you will be compensated for your previous clan quests. Raid xp will increases your player raid level. This will increase the amount of damage your attacks do within clan raids. It also unlocks features such as what tier cards appear in your card shop, the amount of attacks you can do, and the number of decks you can create. While pass clan quest contribution won’t be the most important thing ever, it will be converted.
Will my clans advance start change?
No, you will still have the same advance start that you currently have on the live servers.
Will there be updates to perks, especially power of swiping?
Yes, we definitely want to improve certain perks, I’m not exactly sure what changes we’re going to make to power of swiping, I’m going to try and get that into 3.0. Mana perk and Doom also need a rework, but they won’t be added in 3.0.
Will there be new equipment sets in 3.0?
Yes, there will be at least one new set, there may be more, that all depends on how much I sleep from now until release.
I also plan to add mythic sets, but I’m not sure if they will make it into 3.0. I don’t want to add stuff for the sake of adding, I want to make sure it will be useful. If I get a good idea, I will try to get it in 3.0.
Will the clan changes affect my clan ship damage?
The main progression of the clan ship build, doesn’t have anything to do with the clan. This means it will not affect the your clan ship damage.
Will there be an easter event?
Next year, hahahahahahahahahaha. No there won’t be one this year, as we’ve been so focused on getting the 3.0 update out on time. We know it’s been a long wait, but we’ve run though so many iterations of the build, and we’ve thrown out half the code we wrote for it.
Will there be skill tree changes in 3.0?
The skill tree does need a refresh, but that won’t be until 3.1 or 3.2. I’m not sure what I want to do with it yet.
Will there be any be improvements to the clan chat, and contribution tracking?
Mostly 3.1 at this point, we do have the amount of tickets that everyone earns that will replace the old CQ hits. We definitely want to add improvements to the clan chat, such as sharing decks. So 3.1 should be the patch where you’ll see changes to that system.
Will there be VIP tiers?
VIP tiers are definitely on the table, we’ve just been really busy with all of the other changes. I’ve spoken to our server team, and they also want to do it. It’s just going to take time to figure it all out.
How much does your moustache increase your power?
Sam: That seems like a weird questions since you don’t have a moustache.
Chirs: I think that was directed towards you *laughes*
Sam: Oh yeah. That makes sense as well.
Sam: Inactive progression…
Chris: I liked how you just skipped the question, that’s very rood *laughes*
Sam: A LOT, IT INCREASES IT ALOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.
Will there be improvements with inactive progression and silent march?
It definitely needs improvements, It just won’t make it into this patch. We’ve been insanely busy trying to get 3.0 out asap.
Why do we forfeit our daily raid tickets when leaving a clan?
We was worried about exploiters, so we made sure to add that to the system. This is mainly to stop clans from having multiple accounts in there clan just to farm tickets then leave.
Daily raid tickets will be collected at the midnight of the person who created the clan.
Will you be able to spend diamonds for more attacks?
Nope, we don’t want whales to carry clans. We also wanted clans to be more strategic, if a clan attacks at the same time, they will progress slower than a clan that takes time to communicate and come up with a strategy.
For high level players in high level clans, will they start off at the first stage or will they start at a higher stage?
Originally I wanted to start higher level clans off at a higher level, but I think we’re going to start every clan at one now. Higher clans with higher level players will have a higher raid level. This means they will progress faster than lower level clans anyway. It would also take a lot of time to write a script that perfectly balances every clan out evenly.
Higher level clans will also get bonus tickets for finishing the raids quickly. This will also give them the ability to start more raids faster than other clans.
Will everyone start with all the cards?
New players will start off with 3 cards, they will get these when they first open the raids screen. Existing players will get all 21 cards once 3.0 goes live. These will appear in your inbox in the form of an announcement.
What will happen when we can’t complete a raid?
You will still be able to complete a raid even if it takes longer than 3 days. If you beat the raids after the 3 days you will not be able to progress onto the next raid level.
What is the preparation period, and how long will it be?
The preparation period will be 24 hours, this gives everyone force downtime. You will still be able to attack the upcoming raid as long as you join before the preparation period ends.
The finalization period will be 1 hour, and you will be able to start a new raid after that, you will still have to wait the 24 hour for the preparation period.
Are we still able to use the export feature?
Yes, these will still be available for Masters and Grandmasters. We do have something new, that is not confirmed for 3.0 yet. We have system that will allow you to view past raids and will give you the ability to export them.
Will HS be getting a buff?
I’m aware that HS is really weak at the moment, and I do have some plans to improve it, I’ve been considering adding a HS slash to the game, but that would require me to rework the whole HS system so it’s not overpowered.
Are clan taps still locked 600 per attack?
Yes, you will still be limited to 20 attacks per second, and raid attacks will be lasting 30 seconds. We have considered increases the amount of time a raid attack will last in the future. Previously you could swipe and tap at the same time for over 20 taps per seconds, but we’ve fixed that.
Will you get hero scrolls from tournaments?
No, the only thing we’ve going to add them to is shop bundles, they won’t be in chests, and they won’t be in tournaments.
Any changes to the daily achievements beside the clan raid ones?
No, the main achievements are not changing in 3.0, but we have a few ideas we could add in the future.
How will 3.0 affect the clan rankings?
This will be a smooth transition, from CQ level to raid level, and this will not change any of the clan rankings. This does however give clans the chance to catch up on the leaderboards and overtake clans easier. This was one of the reasons we wanted to add this system as it’s next to impossible to overtake clans currently.
With the new system, a clan could reach the top 200 leaderboard in a few months, assuming they had a lot of strong players, and put a lot of work into clan raids.
When you’re attacking the clan raid, can you miss your taps?
Yes, this is something we added, every different body part has its own hitbox, so if you’re swiping all over the place you will lose a lot of taps. If you focus one/two body parts you should still be able to hit 600 taps on most devices. The Iphone 5 will still have issues, and it’s not really possible for us to solve them.
Is there a maximum level for cards?
Yes, the cap will be a little lower, around level 8-10. In the future when we release more updates we will increase the cap. This will probably happen over the first few patches after 3.0.
What determines your clan attack damage?
Pre 3.0 your CQ damage was solely based on your max stage. In 3.0 it will be a combination of your max stage when you prestige, your previous CQ attacks, and you will also get raid xp when you complete a raid.
Will there be tournament balancing in 3.0?
No, probably not. This is something I really wanted to get in there, but we just didn’t have enough time. It’s mainly about cheaters, we are permanently banning anyone who we catch cheating. There needs to be a balance as we don’t want the system to automatically ban players that aren’t cheating. I hate seeing horrible tournament mismatches, and I think I could get it sorted if I had a uninterrupted week.
Do players that do 0 damage still receive raid rewards?
It doesn’t matter how much damage you do as long as you’re in the clan when the 24 hour preparation period ends, you will be eligible for rewards.
Will dark predator be reworked?
Not in 3.0, but we do have plans to rework when we rework silent march. I want them to work well together.
Will there be anymore special titans like Snap and Portar?
No, we have thrown around a few ideas, but there won’t be any new special titans in 3.0.
We do however have 6 new titan lords for the clan raids. All of the titan lords are different, some of them will have stronger body parts than others, some will have a lot more armor than health, and vice versa. You don’t need to kill every body part to kill the titan lord. There is at least one where you only need to defeat the head and chest to kill it.
How many raid tiers will there be?
On release there will only be 2 raid tiers, we want to see the response from the community before we add anything extra as we don’t want the raids to be too complex on release.
Will skill points and relics be returning to the store?
No, not yet.
