Coronavirus Update - SPRING / SUMMER 2021

Whilst social distancing and wearing of face coverings continues, life is getting back to normal - thank goodness! We would like to thank all our customers and staff over what has been a difficult time and are now looking forward to our 2021 Spring and Summer programme.

HOLIDAYS & DAY TRIPS

17th May Road Map: We are delighted to see lots of our customers booking the holidays and day trips we have on offer.   Assuming the roadmap date of 17 May is reached for indoor hospitality to reopen, we expect to run all the tours and day trips as advertised.  We already have waitlists on 10 of the first 12 holiday dates.   Until at least 21 June these will be on a socially distanced seating plan on the coaches.  

Theatres are now re-taking bookings for late summer onwards and our customers have been very confident in taking the new dates from previously postponed performances.   We will be adding more to the programme as venues are able to confirm their reopening for indoor entertainment and events.  

Holiday and Day Trip Cancellations: We will, however, continue to contact all of our customers whose holidays and trips have been cancelled or postponed and will continue to contact affected clients prior to their departure date to start discussing the options available.   There is no need to call us as we will be in touch with you (by email or phone). Your help in keeping our phone lines clear is much appreciated. Your options are:

-          If a trip has been cancelled by the venue or the hotel, where possible we will offer you an alternative date or you can transfer your booking to another holiday or trip.

-          If not, we will offer a full refund unless we are being charged a cancellation fee by the venue or hotel in which case, we will have to pass on cancellation fees charged to us.

For those of you wishing to book in the future please visit our website; we hope that you feel reassured by our actions and that you will return to us for your summer and autumn bookings.

BUS SERVICES

899 and 901 Home-to-School Coach Services are running as normal.

Local Bus Services: all our services continue to operate. Please see links to timetables (below) running as normal:

Contract Commuter Services: running as normal unless advised otherwise.

Coach Hire: We are pleased to see that confidence is returning to the market with a number of clients beginning to request quotes and make bookings for trips.

We will, however, continue to contact all of our customers with future bookings. However, if  you have a booking please, contact us by email to let us know if you are postponing or cancelling your trip. In these difficult times we are working to our Terms and Conditions available on our website. Your options are:

-          If you have an alternative date, we will transfer your booking at no additional charge.

-          If this trip is then cancelled, without confirming an alternative date; the original terms and conditions and cancellation charges will apply.
