‘Royal Portraiture’, Hampstead Advertiser, 21 February 1929
No living artist has painted so many Royal and eminent people as Philip de Laszlo, who is now in Cairo. He is finishing portraits of King Fuad and his son Prince Marauk [sic].
Mrs. de Laszlo, who was a Miss Guinness, has joined him, and they are in the midst of the social whirl of the Cairo season. They are about to sail up the Nile, and before coming back to their Fitzjohn’s Avenue house will stop in Rome for the Easter festivities.
