DRAPEIS IS A CHILD PREDATOR.
I was finally able to get back in contact with DrApeis. He was actually quite open to some of the criticism in this document. As a result, he agreed to unban Turnip, Lewd, and me. He was also willing to place us back in our former staff ranks, though we all refused to return to the team. I suppose the situation is as “resolved” as it can be.
Anyways, I have seen the additional evidence that Nar isn’t Apeis - namely, the voice call. As I’ve previously stated in this document, I don’t think it really matters if he’s Apeis or not. The voice call will be ample evidence to prove DrApeis’s separate identity for some people. For others, it still won’t be enough. In the end, we’ll only be able to judge DrApeis’s skill as a developer from his present and future actions. Considering the fact that he’s finally taken a step back from Discord, maybe he can accomplish more that he has in the past few days.
Now, I’m going to leave the rest of the document intact and unedited, in case anyone still wants to look at it. Try not to spam it to anyone though, since I’m sure everyone has already seen it a thousand times.
By the way, DrApeis wasn’t the one who decided to ban all mention of my document in the Lovesick Discord. That was another Admin, who has since been demoted from the team. Of course, DrApeis was the one who chose to promote said Admin, and looking at the current state of the Lovesick Discord server certainly doesn’t bring any hope for the future.
I am Rebus, former Moderator for Lovesick. Recently, Head Admin SomeBloodyTurnip (a.k.a Rein), Admin lewdwig, and I were demoted and banned from the Lovesick server. This post is for people who want to know why this happened. If you don’t care about this drama and just want to support DrApeis, you don’t need to read this. Also, this document is formatted for PC.
When Lovesick was first announced, Turnip saw that the server was a mess without mods. She dmed DrApeis and asked if he wanted her help. He accepted her as an admin and said that ex-Heartbreak volunteers would be given a mod role on Lovesick if they asked. This was because Nar was supposedly ''best buddies'' with DrApeis. I took up the offer and became a mod myself. Lewdwig, who was a composer for current Heartbreak, was also added as a mod later on.
Anyways, it all started when Turnip posted this screenshot in the mod chat.
Someone in the r/yandere_simulator Discord had been speculating about DrApeis’s competency as a developer. Furthermore, they claimed that DrApeis lifted months of work from NarwhalsAreFalling and EpicMeal-Dev.
If you don’t know who NarwhalsAreFalling is, he was the developer of Heartbreak, also known as the Yandere Simulator Remake. It was another fangame meant to “improve” on Yandere Simulator. Turnip and I were also volunteers for Heartbreak, which is how we became friends with Narwhal. Of course, Heartbreak ended up failing to become a 3D project after two months of development (and is currently being worked on by its volunteers as a VN project without Narwhal’s input). Admittedly, Narwhal was the main contributor to Heartbreak’s downfall, since he rapidly lost motivation in the project once the “hype” died down on Reddit, and working with a demotivated leader / programmer is near impossible.
Anyways, Turnip, Lewd, and I entered a relatively tame discussion about all of the accusations in the screenshot in the mod-chat. Soon enough, the conversation turned to DrApeis’s past. We decided that there was a chance that DrApeis was actually Nar. Of course, there was a chance that we were wrong about all of this. I was hoping we could have an actual conversation with DrApeis about these claims.
But then, things got odd. Before DrApeis even took any action, Nar sent a message in the private Discord server that us three staff members were in.
Apparently, DrApeis decided to contact Nar about what we were saying BEFORE actually taking any action in his own server. Then, DrApeis straight up banned all three of us. He banned us so quickly that I wasn’t even able to get any more screenshots.
What. The. Fuck.
Now, even if we were wrong about the fact that DrApeis was Nar, is that really worth banning three staff members over? We didn’t say anything rude about DrApeis or Nar, and we were having the discussion in a private mod chat instead of in public. And no, we did not get banned because we were “attacking” him. You can ask any of the other mods, including Shiiki and Athena, and corroborate this. We were absolutely civil during our discussion.
(DrApeis eventually came forward and said that he simply banned everyone that Nar told him to. Can I just say how weird it is that he cares so much about what a non-staff member has to say?)
Even if DrApeis and Nar were stressed out by our conversation, they could’ve just said so. Instead, DrApeis immediately banned all of us. Nar even banned us from the old Heartbreak hangout server, shutting us off from all forms of communication with him.
This is such an immature way to handle a situation. The fact that so many people believe that DrApeis’s damaging behavior is acceptable because he was “stressed” is incredibly idiotic and insulting to all the hard work that the Admins of Lovesick have done to stop the server from turning into a hellhole.
And yes, let’s talk about the work that the Admins, namely Turnip and Lewd, have done. Turnip was a Head Admin, a position that she earned through a democratic vote. She spent a lot of time moderating the server and implementing new rules.
Lewd was an Admin, and constantly worked to help fix the server’s permissions. She also frequently tried to help Apeis with damage control on his own server, since he frequently lacked the ability to deal with situations on his own.
In the end, DrApeis won’t let any of us back into the staff team, since he’s afraid we’ll “spy”. I have to say, this is an excellent way to express your gratitude for some of your most hardworking moderators. I’m sure he’ll treat his volunteers with the same respect.
Obviously, a lot of people noticed that three staff members were suddenly banned inexplicably. At this point, we had no choice but to give them all the information we had. This included our reasoning for why we believed DrApeis was Nar.
THE EVIDENCE
In the past, Nar also frequently teased that idea that DrApeis and his friend, Nocturnal, were other people’s alts. However, he refused to divulge the specifics of this information until Lovesick was released.
The thing is, we had a sneaking suspicion that DrApeis was Nar from the day Lovesick was created. First of all, we discovered this: (Sea Unicorn is Narwhal, as you can tell by their avatar). Apeis and Nar miraculously had the exact same layout for a Yandere Simulator UI!
Now, admittedly, this is circumstantial evidence that Nar is Apeis, isn’t it? Well, here comes the funny part.
You see, DrApeis frequently had voice calls with CameronF305, a Yandere Simulator volunteer who was planning on composing music for Lovesick. One day, DrApeis decided to ban Cameron after getting into a dispute with him. (He even went so far as to make a channel dedicated to harassing him.)
So, I decided to ask Cameron for his side of the story. I also asked him to watch this particular video:

As you can clearly tell, that video was created by Nar for Heartbreak. The character sprite looks like a narwhal and the Heartbreak logo is present. And there’s also constant bashing of YandereDev (wow, just like in DrApeis’s videos!) When I asked Cameron to compare Nar and Apeis’s voices, he stated that they sounded very similar. When I told him who made the video, he came to the conclusion that, yes, Nar is Apeis. You can even ask him on Discord if you want: CameronF305#6977
In the end, Lovesick just can’t rid itself of drama, and it doesn’t really matter who DrApeis’s true identity is. Most of the community already knew that he was an incompetent project manager just from seeing how he ran his Discord server. (Seriously, why the hell did you lie about those YandereDev screenshots?) Exposing the fact that he's failed to develop a proper game once before doesn’t really change much.
What DOES matter is the fact that he managed to lose half of his staff team in a single day. DrApeis cannot run a team. He always manages to screw up delicate situations, and never takes responsibility for it.
In short, Lovesick is fucked. Go find some other fangame to compare to Yandere Simulator.
EDIT: The mods on Lovesick decided to ban all mention of my document on the server, and subsequently started “Lovesick Discord Speedruns”. Incredible damage control.
SOME OTHER FUN FACTS
Lovesick’s protagonist coincidentally looks like 3D Heartbreak’s.
(To clarify, the artist was unaware of Heartbreak’s existence, however she did do multiple colourings of her design, and the one that happened to have the most similar colouring to Heartbreak’s was the one DrApeis asked to use for the protagonist.)
