Fall Festival

At the end of October, an evening is set aside for activities evoking the spirit of the season. There is a β€œhaunted house” organized by the middle school students, games and crafts at stations throughout the gym and families have the option of attending wearing costumes.

The evening includes the Harvest Dinner and a Β trebuchet catapult, which flings and smashes scores of pumpkins to the delight of children of all ages.

Many volunteers are needed.

P. E. Play Day

The warm weather and end of the school year make PE (Physical Education) Play Day a fun, annual rite of summer. Students and faculty are sorted into mixed-age groups for an afternoon of fun fitness games. The Play Day is preceded by a picnic lunch in which families are invited to bring a picnic to share with their children, and it is capped by a fun run.

HCCS/HP Used Book Sale

The Honey Creek/High Point Literacy Committee sponsors the Book Sale, with the primary goal of kids having affordable books that they could choose themselves on hand for reading over the summer. Many books are donated, used, by the HCCS/HP communities.
