EADH-Day 17 Challenge at AIUCD17

with Tesserarum Sisciae Sylloge

The Scholarly Digital Edition of Roman lead tags of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb “Tesserarum Sisciae Sylloge”, coordinated by Marion Lamé (digital operational manager) and Ivan Radman-Livaja  (director and editor) would like to invite you to collaborative deciphering of the commercial lead tags of Siscia.

This challenge is designed to be suitable for people from high-school upwards and to have a playful team-based atmosphere, while being supported by international experts, including scholars, digital humanists and computer scientists. We’ll spend the next three days sharing knowledge, advices and (digital) resources about research in epigraphy and computing in partnership with people from several countries all around the world.

The event culminates with a web-broadcast presentation from Rome, where we will have the real Roman lead tags and coins we will proclaim the winning team, at around 3:00pm to 4:30pm (CET time) on Wed. January 25th. You don't need to be online on Wed. January 25th to participate, but it could be fun.

So, we would like to invite you to join us for:

Three days of online Digital Epigraphy challenge - "Working with Digital Autoptic Processes is Easier Than you Think!" starting on Monday the 23th of January and ending collectively online and / or at Rome for the EADH Day 2017, from 3PM to 4:30PM.
