My dear mother I wright to you at this time becaus I think it is my duty to tell you of my wrong doings and ask you to forgive me I married Orpha knowing I had a wife in the east I knew I was doing wrong to even think of Sutah a thing I went a way from your Home and tryed to forget Orpha but I could not she was always in my minde

  She was like a sister to me and always done every thing she could for me I loved her and will do all that is in my power to make this wrong I have done Right I will provide for Orpha and just as soon as I can straighten things out I will send for her if she seas fit She can come to me just as soon as I can earn money Enough to send for her

my future is in Orpha’s Hands She can make it as she wishes I know She loves me to well to hurt one hair of my head Mother I ask you a gain to forgive me And not to think hard of Orpha becaus she is not in any way to blame She neads your pity at this time  befeore me I am sincere in what I say.  I love Orpha and will do all in my power  (over)

to make her life in the future as Happy as I have made it sad in the last few weaks mother be kind to Orpha nobody knows what she has suffered all for my weakness She will be rewarded for it all some day.  Mother give us boath your blessing and bid us go in peace.  I am going a way to start life anew and make a home for us I will wright you when I get settled
