Teachers sometimes want to be able to print out comments with Google Docs, but that is not possible at the moment with the normal print function. The reason they want to do this is because they are using the comments to provide feedback to the students and the students are replying to the comments. This provides the teacher, student and other stakeholders evidence of student learning which can be put in student books or printed portfolios.
The following are steps to one kind of a solution.
You can 'Download as - Web Page (.html, zipped)'.
This will download as a Zip file to your Downloads folder, when you open that there will be another folder.
When you open that folder, you will see the html file. Double click on that and it will open in your browser.
The comments will not appear beside where you linked it but they will be all available at the end of the document with an a) b) c) annotation.
