Entrants of any age may participate. Instagram requires account holders to be at least 13 years old. Any entrant under the age of 13 must enter through the Instagram account of a parent or legal guardian, and that parent or legal guardian is considered the entrant for all purposes under these Official Rules.

Any entrant under the age of 18 must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to enter. USSSA will require written confirmation from a parent or legal guardian before awarding any prize to, or publishing the likeness of, a minor.

Total ARV of all prizes: up to $749.99 USD.

Prizes are non transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent is permitted, except that USSSA reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Limit one prize per entrant. Gift cards are subject to the issuer’s own terms and conditions. All federal, state and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. How To Enter

To enter, an entrant must complete all four of the following steps during the Entry Period:

1. Record a video at a USSSA sanctioned event taking place during the Entry Period. The video must be one of the following two things:

  • a talking video answering one of the Contest questions, which are: “What does your dream bat look like?”, “What’s the first thing you do when you get a new bat?”, or “What makes a bat feel right to you?”; or
  • a celebration, such as a dugout celebration, a team handshake, or a walk off celebration.

Entries showing game action, batting or pitching will not be judged.

2. Post the video publicly as an Instagram Reel. Entries posted from private accounts cannot be viewed by the judges and will not be considered.

3. Include the hashtag #USSSABringTheHype in the caption of the Reel.

4. Tag @usssabaseball, @playusssa and @eastonbaseball in the caption of the Reel.

Entries must remain public and must not be deleted through September 2, 2026. Limit one entry per entrant. If an entrant submits more than one entry, only the first eligible entry posted will be judged.

Entering by any method other than the one described above, including by direct message, is not permitted. USSSA will never ask an entrant for payment, account credentials or login information by direct message.

7. Judging

This is a contest of skill. Winners are selected by judging, not by chance or random drawing.

All eligible entries will be reviewed and scored by a judging panel consisting of USSSA representatives, on the following published criteria:

Criterion

Weight

Hype and energy, how well the entry captures the spirit of the Contest

35%

Creativity and originality

30%

Video quality and editing

20%

Engagement, measured relative to the entrant’s follower count

15%

The engagement criterion is measured relative to the entrant’s follower count so that entrants with smaller followings are not disadvantaged. No criterion rewards athletic ability, so entrants of all ages compete on equal terms.

In the event of a tie, the entry with the higher Creativity and Originality score will be ranked higher. The decisions of the judges are final and binding.

8. Winner Notification

Potential winners will be contacted by direct message from the official USSSA account on or about Tuesday, September 2, 2026.

A potential winner must respond within seventy two (72) hours of notification. If a potential winner cannot be reached, does not respond within seventy two (72) hours, is found to be ineligible, or declines the prize, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to the next highest scoring eligible entry.

Where the potential winner is a minor, USSSA will require written confirmation from a parent or legal guardian before the prize is awarded and before any name, likeness or content is published.

Shipping information will be collected privately. Prizes will be shipped to addresses within the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia only. Please allow four (4) to six (6) weeks for delivery.

9. Rights and Publicity

By entering, each entrant grants USSSA and Easton a non exclusive, royalty free, worldwide license to reproduce, distribute, display and use the submitted entry, and the entrant’s Instagram handle, in connection with the Contest and in USSSA and Easton marketing across social media, websites, email and other channels.

Where an entrant is a minor, no name, likeness or entry content will be published by USSSA without prior written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

USSSA will not publish an entrant’s full name together with team name and city in the same post.

By entering, each entrant represents that the entry is their own original content, that they hold all rights necessary to grant the license above, and that the entry does not infringe the rights of any third party. Entrants are responsible for obtaining the consent of any identifiable individual appearing in their entry.

10. Disqualification

USSSA reserves the right to disqualify any entry that, in its sole discretion:

  • was not recorded at a USSSA sanctioned event during the Entry Period
  • is not one of the two accepted video types described in Section 6
  • shows game action, batting or pitching
  • features a competing brand’s equipment or branding as a visible element
  • does not comply with the entry requirements in Section 6
  • contains content that is unlawful, obscene, threatening, discriminatory, or that promotes violence, alcohol, tobacco, drugs or firearms
  • misrepresents the entrant’s identity or age
  • uses purchased, automated or otherwise inauthentic engagement
  • violates Instagram’s Terms of Use or Community Guidelines

All disqualifications will be documented internally.

11. General Conditions

USSSA reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Contest, or any part of it, if fraud, technical failure or any other factor beyond USSSA’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest.

By entering, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless USSSA, Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc., and their respective affiliates, officers, employees and agents from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, use or misuse of any prize.

Where Easton’s own official promotion rules apply to this Contest, those rules prevail over these Official Rules to the extent of any conflict.

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

12. Instagram and Meta

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

By entering, each entrant acknowledges the above and completely releases Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from any and all liability in connection with this Contest. Each entrant understands that they are providing their information to USSSA and not to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

13. Winners List

The names of the winners will be announced on @usssabaseball, @playusssa on or about September 2, 2026.
