Overview
The Youth and Junior Program Manager works with the Board Director with responsibility for Junior and Youth Football and relevant Technical Director/s and Football Managers to support the delivery of quality youth football activities at KLUFC as guided by the Board. This includes coordinating the non-football elements of the program, managing information flows and troubleshooting throughout the season.
Responsibilities
The Youth & Junior Program Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the database of youth and junior players with contact and health information in the club’s player management system
- Liaising with KLUFC Registrar to provide all enrolment information required by FT and/or CRJFA
- Managing the induction of all youth and junior coaches and team managers, including communication processes at the Club (who to contact etc.) and grievance procedures
- Communicating club policies and standards to players/parents/carers (eg. match day setup, codes of conduct etc)
- Completing CRJFA team nominations
- Completing local tournament nominations
- Providing team information required for FT Team Nominations
- Coordinating and communicating parental media consent to all volunteers and committee members.
- Coordinating key events and ensure budget and financial records are kept and provided to the Board Director with responsibility for Junior and Youth Football
- Liaising with the Board Director with responsibility for Junior and Youth Football on any issues requiring interaction with the Board, FT, CRJFA, tournament organisers or other Football Clubs
- Working with the Technical Directors and Football Managers to disseminate information relating to team rosters, ground changes, ground checks, and respond to parent complaints in accordance with Club policies.
Essential skills and attributes:
The Youth and Junior Program Manager is expected to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of appropriate behaviour when engaging with children, young people and adults at risk.
- Possess strong verbal communication and organisational skills and be professional, friendly, energetic with a high level of attention to detail.
- Have a level of knowledge of/experience with football program administrations and membership management systems.
- Have excellent communication and technology skills.
- Act in the best interest of the Club and its members at all times, upholding the values of the Club, being honest, open and acting with integrity.
- Be diligent in carrying out tasks in a timely manner.

- Board Director with responsibility for Junior and Youth Football
Qualifications and Training
- Familiar with the use of the Google Calendar and Workspace tools (or similar systems).
- Experience in in the use of club systems and resources (or similar systems)
Compliance
- Current Working with Vulnerable People card is required.
- Must register in PlayFootball as volunteer for current season.
- Must meet all other regulatory and State/National requirements.
