NYC Pre-Professional Ballet Intensive

July 21 – August 15, 2025

Dear Summer Ballet Intensive dancers,

Welcome to the Joffrey Ballet School NYC Pre-Professional Ballet Intensive!

Delivered from New York City, the Pre-Professional Ballet Intensive upholds the Joffrey legacy offering a diverse and comprehensive dance program grounded in the classical foundation. The program implements classical ballet technique and variations from the ballet repertoire, along with contemporary styles of dance.

With approximately five classes per day, you can expect to enhance your dance training in Ballet Technique, Pointe, Variations, Partnering, and Contemporary Ballet. A typical day starts at 9:30 am and ends at 5:00 pm. The class offerings are taught by world-renowned faculty who are masters of their craft and leading experts in the industry. Together with our faculty and staff, we foster a supportive and loving environment for all dancers to grow and challenge themselves. The incredibly rich creative atmosphere of New York City is reflected in the program.

We look forward to taking you on this journey - to see you start a career in dance, with all the support, guidance and skill developments we can provide.  Welcome to summer at Joffrey!

Sincerely,

ERA JOURAVLEV

Throughout the Summer 2025 season, the Joffrey Ballet School marketing team and interns will capture photo and video content inside the studios. These images are used for promotional and archival purposes across our digital platforms including social media, email campaigns, and our website.

Joffrey Ballet School will share select photos with students and families every Friday, beginning in June, through a continuously updated photo album accessible throughout the summer.
