Strengths Network South Pacific offers training to enable accredited StrengthsFinder coaches to provide feedback and consultation using the themes identified by Clifton Strengthsfinder. This training is designed to give coaches tools to help individuals discover what is right about themselves, and use this information to help them understand their unique talents, and to learn how to leverage these talents towards achieving personal and professional success in their roles and relationships.

The content of this course will cover:

- An Introduction to the StrengthsFinder Tool;

- How to provide effective coaching;

- Resources for Strengths coaching;

- Exploration of the 34 Themes;

- Strategies to maximise talent and manage weakness.

Please note that there is approximately two hours homework required for each of the two evenings during the course and therefore we do not advise making other appointments during this time.

Pre Training Requirements

Participants must have completed their online StrengthsFinder assessment and have received individual coaching from an Accredited Strengths Coach prior to participating in this course. If you require coaching you are welcome to contact the SNSP office to arrange this.

Four hours of pre-course work will be sent the week before the course starts. This work will need to be brought to the training.

Each component of the training is critical to the process and full participation is required to certify as an SNSP Accredited Coach.

Once reference checks have been completed the Strengths Network office will send each participant an invoice for the training.  Payment of this will confirm a place on the course.

Post Training Requirements

Participants are expected to carry out ten coaching sessions within 12 months of the course start date. Each participant will receive ten StrengthsFinder codes as part of the course materials.  Following the coaching sessions, coachees will be requested to submit online feedback about the coaching received.

The ten StrengthsFinder codes will remain available to the participant until the anniversary of their training, unless alternative arrangements have been made. At this point SNSP will utilise the codes for other purposes.

Each participant will be contacted by our Coach Liaison shortly after the course. This will be an opportunity to ask questions and receive support as required.

Once the SNSP office has received ten feedback forms, participants will attend a final accreditation interview which completes their training.

Once all of the requirements have been met successfully each participant will be awarded the qualification of Strengths Network Accredited Coach and be sent a completion certificate. They will also receive complimentary membership to the StrengthsNetwork for one year.

Ongoing Support

We recommend all trained Accredited Coaches join the Strengths Network for ongoing support, resources and professional development. We provide workshops for coaches to continue their development and  have opportunities throughout NZ for coaches to meet together for networking and mentoring opportunities throughout the year. Find out more here.

For those belonging to the Network we also provide regular feedback from their coachees who complete the feedback forms. These online forms are available on the StrengthsNetwork website.

Each Strengths Network Accredited Coach will have the option of being listed on the website directory.

Find out more information about membership benefits here.

Course Cancellation

SNSP courses combine lecture-style instruction and group activities. Each session has a minimum number of participants required to ensure a successful learning experience. SNSP reserves the right to cancel any session that does not reach the minimum number of participants on or before the Confirmation Date listed and will notify all registered participants of the cancellation at that time. We encourage participants to plan their travel and accommodation only once the course has been confirmed  as each participant is responsible for their own travel/accommodation expenses.

Participant Cancellation | Transfer

If you cannot attend the Strengths Network course for which you are registered, you will need to notify us no later than THREE WEEKS PRIOR to the course START date to receive a full refund.

In the event of an unforeseen circumstance requiring you to cancel less than three weeks prior to the course, you will need to notify the StrengthsNetwork office to request a refund. Please note: an administration fee of $200 will be charged.

If you register for a StrengthsNetwork course and need to reschedule, you can do so by contacting the SNSP office at least three weeks prior to the course date. You may be charged a transfer fee. SNSP will not accept any rescheduling requests less than three weeks before the course start date.
