Your highly respected Sir,
The Minister Counsellor, Jenő Radics,[1] Director of the Hungarian National Museum of Applied Arts, informed our Society in his letter Nr.59/1906 that your Highness has offered your 600 korona of your daily honorarium received for being a member of the jury at the Venice International Exhibition last year to the artists pension and aid fund operated by our Society.
The committee of our Society gratefully acknowledged the noble decision of your Highness at their meeting held on the 21st February 1906 and entrusted the Board to express their most grateful thanks for this noble donation.

Editorial Note:
The letter is also signed by Bertalan Karlovszky (1858-1938) in his capacity as a member of the Society’s directorate. Karlovszky was a pupil of Mihály Munkácsy (1844-1900) and an important painter and graphic artist.
